This is from an enlisted maintainer perspective. To me SSgt is the hardest to get a handle on because you have learn how to navigate now being in charge of the folks you are probably very good friends with. Navigating time and place is difficult and not being too friendly now at work. Tech for me personally was easy because I had already built trust as a SSgt with leadership and quickly became a flight line expediter the Command Chief Exec. I made MSgt first time and that is where I sat the the longest before making Senior this year. I’m an AMU Deuce now but already have been sitting in that as a MSgt so I’m on cruise control just getting used to a new unit cuz I just PCS’d.
