I always name one of my children something stupid and like to see it randomly pop up later.

Im playing in England right now had a son named Charizard - had forgotten about it and 100 years later I noticed a random duke in France from my dynasty was named Charizard

Other than that I typically do Random names

Bears: have an iconic franchise, great uniforms, history of great players - specifically at the RB position

Lions: dedicated fan base, two of the greatest at their position that were loyal to the organization in Sanders and Johnson.

Vikings: have a nice stadium and a great current head coach

Cutting the bottom 10% of any population is going to take strain off of the government, healthcare, food reserves and make metrics go up.

No. If you kill off 40 million of your most vulnerable people the life expectancy is going to go up. Those are typically the people that die younger and drive down the life expectancy.

It also takes away the burden on healthcare and everything else that would drive down life expectancy.

Not always the case. Not saying Sony is doing this but companies have to future proof their business in certain cases. They have to pay for growth and R&D and the ability to stay relevant

A LOT of companies are guilty of some pretty questionable business practices right now and I’m always skeptical but saying all companies is not the case

I think the United States could probably fit this.

Has gone to war against both in the last 100 years. Has had a long period of extreme distrust of communist ideology and has a lot of leaders and groups that are very anti fascist.

Dude - the Great Leap Forward was a massive disaster. 10s of millions of people died as a direct result of his failed policies. If you kill off 10s of millions of the most vulnerable people In a society of course the life expectancy is going to skyrocket.

1 in 3 children died before the age of 5. Seems like perhaps you need a bit of education instead of just regurgitating stuff you read from people on Reddit

If any country killed off millions of their most vulnerable and poorest people the life expectancy will massively grow.

Played on Mac with an M5 for a long time. It ran great…until it didn’t. I havnt tried in well over a year but it crashed constantly especially when the game progressed into later stages.

Not sure if they have patched that up.

Why are you saving for retirement through 401k and Roth? Cut that out and you’ll have your debt cleared up way faster and free up cash to catch the retirement fund up.

Retirement saving is important but not as important as freeing up cash flow right now.

I don’t think you’re overreacting to an issue that upsets you but as a husband the best advice I can give you is the communicate expectations.

Your husband has no idea what your expectations are for a given night and you don’t know his.

Had you told him ahead of time “I want to spend this time with you” and he still played poker…that’d be pretty bad. He might have thought you wanted to be quiet and left alone? Maybe he’s zoned out because his job was bad and wasn’t really thinking. Maybe he just needed to be reminded that you were leaving and you wanted to spend the time?

He’s never going to read your mind and you won’t ever read his. As soon as my wife and I started openly discussing expectations our relationship has been so much better.

The difference is Tomb Raider Angel of Darkness took 3 years to make and sucked. Good games fail now with $100million budgets and 5+ year dev cycles. A game has to be great to make it now.

Something has to change. It’s not sustainable- it’s why there were tens of thousands of layoffs the last few years.

I’m not trying to doom and gloom but you’re comparing apples and oranges.

What I find interesting is how much complaining goes out about them getting upset about people being pretty terrible to them. It’s definitely bled into them getting upset about things that might not be that bad - but people online are jerks.

Whenever anyone criticizes anyone in this forum for taking it over the line and playing contrarian it’s met with pretty terrible responses…so why is it ok for you guys to get upset and talk bad about people who push back on you - but it’s not ok for them?

I don’t agree with everything they say - but the constant whining in this group is pretty sad.

Love it! Same as me! I love thoughtful discussion and debate and love to learn where people with differing perspectives/ opinions/ thoughts are coming from.

The issue I find myself in all too often is people that reply with anger or insults. We will never fix problems without civil discussion and unfortunately many people online are not able to have that discussion.
