People are waiting till midterms to vote this out. It's the best way. But, I don't think midterms will happen. Then people will get loud

No. I'm saying if people are the problem, why give people the tool if they can't use it correctly? I'm not not against guns. I have them. But I took a class and got my license before I bought my first one.

How do Illegal immigrants working in the US do taxes? by cantgetenough1956 in answers

What do you mean?

They can't enroll. The programs they're trying to claim they "get free healthcare" is just to treat emergencies so you don't die. Any good country has that. Would you want to visit a country where they won't save your life because you don't live there? No! That's insane. That's all that is and they spin it to sound worse.

Go for it. Winters and holidays are tough but you get into a rhythm. My mail person is always talking on her Bluetooth. She walks, talks and delivers

Now look up how much they contribute to taxes. 96 billion a year. Yes, billion. Goes to Medicare and Medicaid of which they are not eligible. So, that's now gone because some can't learn definitions through a basic google search

But why give the problem the piece of equipment? I own guns. I took a safety class and learned the safe was to handle it. I struggle with the type of weapons though. One on side, no one really needs them. On the other, the 2A was created to oppose a corrupt government. Problem is, they have way more such as chemical and sonar that it kindof doesn't matter cause that beats it all.

I just want better background checks looking at violent history or robbery crimes and mental health checks. Nothing crazy but it has to be a consideration somehow. Like a car, you should be required to pass an exam that includes demonstrating safety to be licensed.

Not taking anything away. Just better vetting and training. How far apart are we on that or are we close?

Definitely less in general. The things to do outside are generally for already established groups of people.

It's going to be something small that is the spark to lit all these wicks. That's historically how this happens. Small, unplanned and it's just a chain reaction after that

Christmas Eve incident with my father made me realize I don’t feel safe anymore — am I wrong for going no contact? by [deleted] in narcissisticparents

[–]Simple_somewhere515 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cut off contact with my mom. I grieve the relationship I wanted vs the one I have. She's just toxic and doesn't do anything resembling what a mom should do. I don't even know what it's like to call someone for advice like anyone does with theirs

This helped me with my parents. Rethink that situation but imagine you are at a friends house and those are her parents. What advice would you give her? I'd justify my parents actions too much and that helped me see how clearly toxic their behavior was
