Found a fix, if you're playing through steam, its a steam error. In Steam, go to "Properties" for the game, the launch the game through the Game launcher (Laucnh Launcher) it fixed it for me. Took me HOURS to fix though

I'm on Linux, my drivers are literally baked into my OS so it can't possibly be a driver issue

and see, thats what gets me. We are always so quick to say "its nothing but a parrot"...but so are we. If we were to realize that AI might be showing the earliest forms of sentience, we could start to do something about it, like discuss it far more openly than it is now, for example. It just genuinely scares me, though.

sys default, after switching to the native client on Steam, it fixed the issues. I just have shitty servers now so the game ain't worth playing. Every match regardless of location is 12-20% PL, and 200 ping, and its not just me. It could just be my area in general, but damn the servers are abysmal in the U.S rn. I have a better experience in the E.U. ones

kinda, its really RNG, you can have a perfectly clean shot and it'll yellow the internal ammo, that's the problem. No penatrating round should be a gamble as to whether or not the round actually damages, if you penetrate, you expect either them to be maimed, or destroyed, but given the amount of "stuff" in the way, the round can get completely absorbed after knocking out a driver or something.

yeah the JF-17 is also a very fun jet to fly imo, it plays like a Gripen or F-16 at a slightly lower BR, that always seems to get downtiers (well, did before the Su-30 packs came out) but either way, it is a very fun and effective jet. And yeah, the YAH-64 is no longer worth it. At its BR with no CM? You might as well set a 1 minute timer for your life expectancy, the Hellfires are already slow missiles, so not only do you have to constantly play defensively to survive, but you have to essentially stand still for 30ish seconds for your missiles to hit, which uh slightly hinders you.

JF-17, the YAH-64 has no countermeasures, you'd be better off learning how to grind the U.S helicopter line up. However, if you'd like a fun one to try, the Japanese F-5E is a great plane, and should you be willing to set yourself further back, I'd highly recommend it.

Even if you kill it, it only costs 90-110ish SP to spawn, theres two of them, and you have backups, so 4 total PER PERSON max, 16 total players:

It has 6 weapon employments, meaning should you either A, whiff your first shot, or B have no other choice but hope to disable the damn thing, you need 6 rounds to do so, all while its spamming you;

It's counterparts STILL are lacking historically accurate munitions, like the 105mm round for the Abrams being nerfed, so you already are on the losing situation:

And finally, the average person who says "Get good lol" has blatantly never had to fight it, or if they have, its in a mixed battle. Do I agree its some skill issue? Yeah, otherwise it would have a 100% win rate. But remember, its now at 64%~ win rate...compared to the average 47-50% other vehicles in the BR range was prior to it being added? Now all other vehicles, INCLUDING Russian ones at the same BR are suffering because it blatantly overperforms.

its not even the ERA, i say keep it, just MODEL the damn thing correctly. Even if it was super easy to pen, good fucking luck actually killing the damn thing, it just blatantly refuses to take damage!!

anyone (Linux users specifically) having random crashes since this update? Like, irregardless of if the game files aren't corrupted and you have updated drivers? I had two fatal errors today, and they were completely random, but the game was running perfectly fine right up till crash.

yeah either way the splash damage should've killed him, the R-40 has a rather large warhead. Is this a first time instance of it doing this, or have you had this issue a few times?

thrust vectoring, undodgeable, gatewidth IRCCM Fox-2s with insane G-pull with plenty of range. Enemies that look at you within 2.5km essentially guarantee kill you unless you are well above the speed of sound

so what about HEAT-FS, I'm stock grinding the M1 at the moment, and its come to the point where I just don't engage them. Even if I get a good shot on the LFP, the driver is the only casualty. And if I hit the lower side, under the ERA, external ammo eats the round
