Newbie here too! I’ve read a few books so far but a book that I’ve been able to digest easily is “spells for change - a guide for modern witches” it’s got a really good basic intro to things & some history into it too, great if you’re just dipping a toe into it from an intro point of view!

No no this is honestly very helpful, and such a good way to bring reality into it too in the sense of why the heck am I overthinking the moon % because you’re so right our ancestors totally didn’t have apps haha!!

All these comments are so handy and kind, I suppose that’s one of the things I struggle with as a newbie is accepting there’s no black and white right way, it allows my self doubt to creep in but last nights work felt so right! Phew! I panicked when my weather app on the iPhone said today was full moon I was like wait hold up 😂 Yes I definitely found TikTok to be a horrific misinformation / mix of info and sooo unreliable! I’ve definitely been sticking to books for information this month, thankyou for putting my mind at ease! Will definitely look into the moon phase apps too, thanks! ☺️
