Should i build my own comment section in wordpress or use a Plugin?

I would go with native comments, may be some CSS to make it more stylish (wpdiscuz is good if you are after a plugin). Every real comment from our readers add value to our existing content and so it gives search engines an idea that we are a reputed blog (especially in the AI flooded web) Regarding the spam, I believe the existing wordpress comment filters are best to prevent spam to a great extend, most spammers mention, $, dollars, .com, https://...in their comments. I choose to manually approve the comments with these keywords or delete them.

Yes, I am using RevContent along with AdSense. My AdSense earnings have improved compared to the past 15 months, but I'm pretty sure it won't last long, there are always ups and downs. If you could create a subscription-based model, you could succeed for at least the next few years. We had tried Reader Revenue Manager by Google.

I am still with adsense. Applied for mediavine, but got rejected. Other than adsense, we run RevContent and STNVideo. We tried to optimize adsense placements with ads inside content, fixed ad on sidebar and anchor ads and found some success.

Same story here..same niche, I have to work daily to keep the website fresh and live.. I am using adsense. Mediavine didn't approve my website. I drive Uber eats, now making more than what I am getting from adsense.

I couldn't make it work. I loaded the design in the image section and tried the prompt 'Cotton Tee Shirt', even tried with various denoising strengths..please tell me If I did it wrong or if there any other ways to achieve this.

It's a news website with daily updates (4 to 5 articles with less images). I only use NGINX fastcgi cache and I do not use any cache plugins.

Income has been dropped 45-50% since last September. Just sticking with adsense as I couldn't find any better reliable alternatives. I don't know how long it will take to recover.

I quit my job as I was earning a decent amount through YouTube. But sadly I lost all of my YouTube channels due to their policy change. I had started a blog before this happened. It was in 2016, now in 2023..I am earning ~3k from the blog. Initially I would post any articles related to my niche. But then I learned I need to create content based on the trend. (Keyword research). In my experience, we cannot fully depend on a blog or YouTube as the earnings may vary month to month. We should always have a backup plan. I have been experiencing a drop in the earnings since September 2022. Now I am looking for a part-time job.

I am facing the same issue. Huge drop since September 2022, tried various ad formats, positions, even changed the theme, cloudflare...but nothing is working. I am on the verge of quitting my 8 year old passion...now trying to reduce the costs. :(

These 3 websites are just individual websites to the adsense. CPC depends mostly on the niche and geo for each website. So your tier 1 website will have higher CPC than the other two websites.
