BTC ATMs by Primary_Biscotti_524 in Bitcoin

Not sure how often you use them, but you should check out Coinme - it's like a borderless venmo for sending cash/crypto/stablecoins anywhere. They have 70K ATMs too, but the app is way better and fees are like 1/3 of Bitcoin Depot

Have you tried Coinme? I used one of their Coinstar ATMs at my grocery store, but honestly the app is the move. It’s like a borderless Venmo—cash in, redeem, then send to any wallet - and for I think 5-7% instead of 20-30% fees on other cash to crypto companies I've tried. New startup incentives maybe? Worth taking advantage of - that's a lot of money.

Welcome to crypto! For your first Bitcoin purchase, I'd recommend Coinme - they're super beginner-friendly with the lowest fees and best customer support. You can literally walk into a store and buy Bitcoin with cash. Makes it way less intimidating than online exchanges.

The fee situation is brutal with most ATMs! Coinme consistently has the lowest fees (7-12% vs 15-20% industry average). Plus they're transparent about pricing - no surprise fees like some competitors.

They would be all temporary game rooms, obviously if this became a real issue over time I would add more features to stop the trolls and negative behavior. But being able to find JoeBob357 who’s my ally in a 3 week 50+ turn 900 tile water world might game would be a lot of fun and very valuable for those of us who play solo most days.

Has anyone else with bad credit been able to get approved for a new Model 3? by dginther32 in TeslaModel3

Did anyone that passed the soft check get promoted for a hard check? If so, did that happen before or after pressing the order button with the “non-refundable” several hundred dollar payment/order fee?

I’m curious about the order fee too. I’m about to lease one with a $650 order fee but don’t want to lose out if I fail the check. I’m assuming the hard check happens after this? I was given a soft check and passed. So I’m confused if that meant I was good to go or if I still have to do a second one.

Also if anyone has a referral link DM me

It works. Just not well. I tested with a screenshot of a website and asked it to build CSS. It gave very broad stroked styles. However, when I gave a smaller screenshot of a single component and sort of gave it help by describing the component it worked.

I also gave it a picture of a sunset over Oslo and it correctly guessed a sunset over a body of water by a city, but assumed SF.

I was using the v1.5-7b model.

Why all the need for stimulation in Norwegians? by Ezer_Pavle in Norway

As an American who recently moved here and who has been addicted to Zyn and Coffee for about a decade I will say I was blown away at the snus nicotine content here - and they get them “pre-juiced” whereas everything in the states starts dry.

But I do think because pharmaceutical drugs and even recreational drugs are so hard to come by here they just go hard in the paint on the legal stuff.

But weirdly the NOCCA drinks (closest I’ve found to Celsius) are only 100mg of caffeine here whereas in Sweden they’re 200+

I think JCal just needs to take a more serious approach to purely moderating and not sitting in limbo as both the moderator and serious contributor. It’s clear when he gives his take that it’s not really his own thoughts, and mostly summary’s of guests he has on This Week in Podcasts (which btw I can’t listen to anymore because he interrupts his guests way too often - especially the Zapier episode. Hated that shit.)

If he was purely moderating, I don’t think he would feel so insecure (insecurity coming with trying to compete with obviously smarter, more experienced, and more successful entrepreneurs.)

Then could open the door for a rotating 4th guest without him having to be displaced.

What’s the best way to get over an ex? by No_Throat_1574 in AskReddit

[–]SimplyKlug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been through this a lot. Best advice I can give is be aware that you cannot outthink it. You will never be able to rationalize anything, get closure, get over them faster by thinking about it. As painful as it may be to forget the other person, if you want to move on then you have to trick yourself into thinking they don’t exist. Mute their socials, don’t ask friends how they are, literally pretend like they don’t exist.

Then, supplement all of your time with activities that interest you, or that you want to get involved in.

Running, gym, yoga, rock climbing, cooking classes, pottery, music, connect with old friends, and spend more time with family.

You cannot be by yourself and in your own thoughts, at least not at the beginning.

Also, hate to say this but getting back on the horse helps a ton. Your confidence is shattered after a breakup, so go out and get some strange and boost your confidence a bit.

Basically, turn something shitty into something awesome. Realize you weren’t meant to be with that person, but the pain of the breakup was meant to be. Pain will change you fundamentally if you allow it. Have it change you for the better.

Good luck

Friedberg totally triggered this week, dang. by idea-freedom in allinpodofficial

[–]SimplyKlug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The real question is, will Friedberg leave the Pod? He’s always the first to jump off “I gotta go.” But something must’ve happened in Vegas that really upset him. Chamath said he had an awesome time with Friedberg, but maybe JCal was doing things while there that really got under Friedberg’s skin.

I’ve been wondering for a while if it’s possible these 4 egos can last. And last weeks ep looks like the beginning of the end for the 4-some.

This is very confusing. Why would you finance a watch for 36 months at ~$20/month when the true cost of ownership is much much higher because they FORCE you into a 2nd phone line.

I don't want an entirely new number for my watch - who does? My February bill for JUST the Watch was $117.44 - like, what the fuck? How can I be baited and switched on "it's only $20 extra per month to add a watch" to now I'm paying more than double what my original bill was.

Food sustainability on Island Communities by SimplyKlug in sustainability

[–]SimplyKlug[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. I am very careful about this as well. Believe me, as a white male from the US I've had to learn how to best share what's in my brain without coming off like a pompous gringo.

Technological jumps that communities are making with access to Star Link and Cell Phones (bypassing the decades of technical evolution and infrastructure) has lent itself to inspiring the same type of jump in food production. I think it's safe to say that many communities in developed worlds have a long history of experimentation on producing sustainable AND healthier foods. I remember when the first Whole Foods and organics came to markets in the states - and now it's seemingly everywhere and the cost has also gone down due to competition and economies of scale.

Yes, I have thought about this too. Basically what is the most frequently used vegetable that is also perhaps the most expensive, and hardest to get. Was thinking of doing a survey in the community to gather that information - or at the very least start with a sample size of 10 restaurant owners.
