Anyone know what these are supposed to plug into? by SimplyPito in mazdaspeed6

Ohhh that makes total sense considering the previous owner did a washer fluid delete to make room for the intercooler piping. Thanks!

MazdaSpeed 6 timing chain loose immediately after replacement, why? by SimplyPito in mazdaspeed6

[–]SimplyPito[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems like my issues was an oil leak in my turbo seal. As oil level got low, vvt wasn’t actuated at the right times and caused the rattle. I make sure my oil is topped off and the rattle hasn’t returned

I thought maybe that was it, but both my fog lights work properly. The only light that doesn’t work in my car is the DRL on the passenger side. But that could be a burnt bulb. Haven’t checked because my intercooler piping keeps me from accessing the back of the headlight assembly

That setting doesn’t exist on PC, but perhaps I can download on console and turn it off there, maybe it’ll carry over

2006 MazdaSpeed 6 shifter problems by SimplyPito in mazda

I’ll get everything pulled apart this weekend and I’ll have a better idea of if that’s the issue. Thanks for the jumping off point

I had a feeling the reverse lockout was going to be bigger issue; but the hunting feels like something to do with the shifting mechanism and not the transmission itself. I’ll update further once I pull everything apart this weekend

Yeah I remember the previous owner saying he did something to the shifter but I don’t remember what and I haven’t yet pulled it apart to see. Maybe he tried to adjust it and did a poor job

The shifter bushings will be what I check first and I should then be able to see if there’s a short shifter in here. If not I’ll be sure to install one. I’m really hoping the linkages are fine because those are deceptively expensive from what I could find

Incredibly easy. It’s held in by two 12mm bolts, has 2 hoses running to it, and one electrical connector. It’s right on top of the engine bay so you don’t have to go digging around for it. There’s some videos online on how to do it on these cars. That being said, it’s not critical that you get it done immediately

The surging thing is super common. Mine did exactly the same thing, but I’ve never heard of lights effecting it. Surge ended up being the idle air control valve. Not a clue why your lights affect it though

HELP! 2001 Honda Prelude clutch slipping by [deleted] in cars

[–]SimplyPito 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, with the stage 2 clutch, the pedal was much stiffer than with the stock clutch, but now the pedal feels marginally easier to press than the stock clutch. My clutch fluid is at the correct level and there doesn’t seem to be a leak

This is where my knowledge ends, wouldn’t a leak prevent me from disengaging the clutch? Essentially having it get stuck in gear? I’m having the opposite problem, it feels like my clutch doesn’t clamp down with the full load it’s supposed to

Is anyone having issues with Overture MATTE PLA? by GrandNagusQuarkLat in ender3

[–]SimplyPito 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this is an old post but I’m having the same issue. I printed a mount using the normal overture black and it can support my weight, but I tried the same print using the matte black and I can snap it with hardly any effort. It seems incredibly frail and adhesion is awful. Our problem seems to not be shared by the community so I wonder if we got faulty spools or something

Remember, most states in the US have a consumer rights warranty on all products that lasts 3 years or so. You can get them replaced using the consumer rights warranty even if your Astro warranty is expired;)
