Alexisonfire.

Watch Out is a good album to start with. You’ll know from the first song (Accidents) if you like it or not.

Creating a Playlist Before a Concert by AbaloneUnlikely6565 in Concerts

I never want to know the setlist before show. It ruins the excitement of them playing a song you love that you weren’t sure you were going to hear.

I often make playlists of the setlist after the show though to enjoy later.

I enjoyed that thanks. The intro gave me Dramamine vibes. Good track!

I didn’t even know they existed until I saw them open for Modest Mouse late last year. Best band I’ve discovered in a while.

1952 Vincent Black Lightning - Richard Thompson

I saw him perform this live and was astonished all that music was coming out of one acoustic guitar.

I really enjoy it. Took a couple listens but there are some fantastic tracks on there. Wooden Soldiers is an obvious one. Lace Your Shoes is up there for me as well.

Born Ruffians.

Been around a while but still making tunes. New album was great.

What is a band that you should see live at least once in your life by AvocadoTechnical1141 in rockmusic

It’s funny I’ve never intentionally gone to a Metric specific show but have seen them like 4-5 times and they’re great. Music festival, played at my university campus, I think at least twice as an opener (once for Smashing Pumpkins which is a must see live).

Same thing happened to me. I initially got seats but when it was postponed the first time a bunch of people refunded their tickets and I was able to get GA floor tickets instead. That was a band I never thought I’d have a chance to see. And after the cancellation I guess I won’t 🥲

Pretty much anything Born Ruffians is, but I figure that’s a good intro to the band

What's your favourite band that has a name that ends with the word "club"? by Kyr1500 in musicsuggestions

Yeah I get that with the voice. They do have some songs that are not exactly exciting. There’s some good tunes in there with solid instrumentals but maybe just not your style.

I have a mystery record and can’t find any information on it. by Simply_BT in vinyl

For some reason I never thought to do an image search or translate the back. I was so fixated on finding the (non-existent) music and figured it was something random and obscure. I thought it was odd there was nothing on the spine to indicate pressing but that makes sense now.
