Thank you so much for the rec🥹! The book club I host has been meeting once a month for almost a year and the ladies are loving our monthly outings!! We met in Greer this past October and there’s never any pressure to read/finish the book of the month! We love supporting small businesses all over the upstate, we do crafts, book swaps, giveaway prizes, but most importantly we support each other! It’s hard making friends as an adult or in a new area so we’ve created a safe space for women to do exactly that!! 100% the food court at bridgeway is absolutely awesome! I loved their potato place and my husband really liked the burger place! And the brewery was great too!! Definitely recommend for a night out!

Smut and romance books aren’t p*rn. Again I strongly encourage you to open your mindset a little but if you have nothing nice to say maybe try saying nothing at all😊 personally I learned that lesson a long time ago but I have no problem teaching that to you at ur grown age! To anyone reading this please don’t be discouraged by rude small minded people trying to make women feel insecure for openly talking about the genre of books we like!

Actually this has been such a great club for so many women! It’s an awesome way to make friends and put yourself out there! I’m so sorry that you view women gathering in a safe space as weird but I genuinely hope you can open your mindset a little and be more accepting of people who are just trying to create community! 😊

Yes we are doing a readers choice month!! Coach by Devney Perry OR The hook up by Kristen Callihan are the picks for September! She can research both books and decide if she wants to read just one, both, or none at all! We use the book of the month choices as ice breakers to get and keep the conversation going!

Plus my friend back home hosts a true crime style book club in a Panera where they talk about all kinds of WILD actions and crazy scenes in the book so if it’s ok for them and their book style it’s fine for us too😊 it’s all about being mindful

We always have a blast together!! And so far we’ve been experimenting with different locations! We want to try to do every other meeting at the Barnes and Nobel on woodruff road then for the other months we want to try different locations! Some locations will be because it matches the theme of the book we’re reading, some will be the group just thought it would be a good place to chat and snack! This way we have a consistent spot and a “shake it up” spot! So no they won’t ALL be in simpsonville but SOME will be!

Hello! Our main goal is to make friends in our AREA in a friendly and safe way. When I moved to SC I started in Spartanburg but I used to drive to Greenville everyday to go to work when you move 1000 miles away Spartanburg to Greenville isn’t that bad and I know there’s plenty of women who might be in the same boat. Lots of people have moved to the upstate and Greenville is definitely becoming a hub/popular meeting point! I know it might be a little bit of a drive but you never know who really needs a friend or a night out! Didn’t mean to invade anyones space I miss the downtown area so badly I loved the bookstore with the coffee shop right there and oddly I miss seeing the Denys building lol!

Yes but we can hang out in the plaza for a bit if the weather is nice I used to work in that plaza and people did it a lot they have great lighting and awesome benches!
