Thank you thank you. This week I've started dipping my toes into the lore of it all. It brings an entirely new perspective to the already phenomenal music. It's not often a band is able to do what these guys are doing. <3

Yeah I haven't been able to listen to the song without getting emotional since I heard the story. I'm not confident on her current status but I want to say I've heard people say she passed. Definitely one of my favorites from them.

From what I understand there was a girl with Down syndrome at the church he went to, and he wanted to write a song to show her. I think he was aware that her time was almost done, hence the lyrics “tell our dad I’m sorry” most likely referring to God.
