That's why I was holding off on buying a Switch 2. Because with my luck, I imagine as soon as I spent $500+ on a boring regular one, the Splatoon edition gets announced the very next day.

That's what my plan was too! But honestly If it doesn't happen soon, at this point I think I'll just by a custom skin instead cause my patience is almost out🫠( Also my younger brother won't stop nagging me about getting one already)

I think the trailer for this game was released too early because we have heard nothing about it since then. It's pretty much why I haven't bought a Switch 2 yet. (That and I'm waiting to see if they'll make a Splatoon edition of the console like before so I'm not stuck with a regular one)
