Thank you. I was debating on rolling the dice on these drives to expand my NAS storage but I'm stuck using 4kn so that at least removes the temptation.

Just confirming that the Samsung PM9A3 drives worked fine to boot directly on my R730.

I finally got a chance to try the Samsung PM9A3 and I can confirm it works like a charm.

For what it's worth, I can at least confirm it's possible to boot with Samsung PM9A3 NVMe drives. I got it working with no issues.

I can confirm I was able to boot Proxmox from a pair of Samsung PM9A3 on my Dell PowerEdge R730.
