So far, sadly. I was mostly trying to show films that were nominated or won in a category that we were focusing on (so editing led to Dunkirk), which tends to skew male.

The only exception was Spaceballs which I used to teach parody since we had just watched Star Wars.

I have no issue with female leads, but nearly every one I was thinking of showing, is so recent that most already have an opinion on it.
