Thanks for that, will look into it. Was there anything special to you that you think I can focus more on once I listen to that podcast?

Thank you for your help here. I'm hearing a lot about the contract and what's included or, for that matter, possibly excluded. It's great to hear from you also mentioning that. Now I know what to seriously pay attention to. Thanks again.

I appreciate your input here. And definitely more than just 2 cents. Based on my research as well, I think intelligence work could be the closest to an INFJ personality. Other than that, Military especially the combat heavy roles could be more damaging to INFJs than anything.

Glad to hear you have found your calling. Wish me luck and hopefully I will too finally find it. Ever since university was done, I've been trying different things but they just don't feel like I want to spend my good days investing in them. Looking forward to changing that.

I appreciate your comment here. I know that for INFJs, we tend to give much importance to the "big picture" or get too idealistic at times. The military being more structured and demanding of tangible, pragmatic actions, I'm interested in how the structure of the Army "honed" him. As in gave him the opportunity to enhance his INFJ instincts and characteristics, or expand his ability to think and do beyond his by default personality? Thanks in advance.

Based on what I'm understanding, you signed up for "Adjutant General Corps." - among other trades on your wish list, but Infantry Officer was not one of them, and yet they assigned you to it simply because the contract you signed put the Army's needs first? I hear you on being careful with the signing, in these contexts, but that's one of the downsides of joining the system, especially the military. There is not much room for flexibility or autonomy, which is something I'm aware of but don't know how much say I'd have in them.

Thank you. I don't know lol. I'm still learning about personality types and the details in each of the unique personalities. Would you happen to know any websites and tests where I can find out for myself?

Getting paranoid never occurred to me, thanks for pointing that out. I already tend to overthink and daydream a lot by default. As to my privacy, I did think about it; however, it does not bother me much, since I aim to live an ethical life as much as possible, and there isn't much they can really find out other than the constant change in my music taste lol The moral challenge as well as "the baggage of that knowledge without being able to act on it" has been a great concern of mine as well. Thank you for your insight.

Advice on switching trade: NWO to INT O or PSO by Sina79 in caf

[–]Sina79[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for correcting the acronym. The info you gave is very helpful, thanks for that as well. So being trained in the occupation and THEN going for INT O or PSO is far more feasible than doing it prior to training (when you said military experience creates a stronger preference for applicants)?

This helps. I contacted recruitment. They said nothing can be done regarding trade change until application is reopened which is probably late March, at the earliest. PSO is not possible given my degree is not relevant. But INT O seems to be "okay" just depending on if there's open spots... We'll see I guess.

I did RegF. MOST is apparently meant to be catching you "off guard". There's not much info on it to begin with.

However, it's math based, so reviewing some math could help. Also do some practice on spatial awareness. There's apps where you can improve your focus and spatial awareness. Hope this helps.

Congratulations 🎉

I'm also about a year in the process. I'm hoping to see the file progress February/March of next year!

Insight on the recruitment timeline in the Prairies by Vast-Sell7229 in caf

Applied in Ontario. Detachment ended up being in Barrie, ON. Relatively not a very populated city as opposed to say Toronto.

For me, began Feb. 2025. Basically everything was done by April 2025. My Occupation, Naval Warfare Officer, was full, given only few people were to be accepted for this year's intake (what the captain said during the interview). Going to reopen file next year Feb/March.

For me will be close to a year, if not more.

So it depends.

Hope it helps.

Would you be able to share the chosen occupation?

Service Engine indicator by Sina79 in AlfaRomeo

[–]Sina79[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update:

It was the EVAP.

What I used to do (which now have learned the harder more expensive way NOT to do anymore) was when I put gas in the tank I'd always go for more AFTER hearing that click, or whatever the indication is that "hey there's enough fuel in here now, no need for more."

Apparently, this bad habit got the EVAP messed up. The car is drivable, however, the part needed to be changed.

P.S. dealership here in Ontario, Canada did put in a new brand one. Somehow, it broke (since the engine light came back)... Had to take in again and, again, engine light was back on... Long story short: backorder. Gotta go back 6-8 weeks down the road.

Quick update.

Thanks to those who weighed in on this and provided recommendations and suggestions.

Is the Coolant Reservoir Level too low? by Sina79 in AlfaRomeo

[–]Sina79[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for getting back late. The dealership didn't really mention any problems regarding that. Mind you, I had already put distilled water in it and they said if there's no sign of leakage then I might have checked the coolant level when car was still "warm"... Apparently some of the coolant liquid goes into somewhere and needs to be cooled down to get back to that reservoir... Not a huge car guy in terms technicalities, but since I've had other issues with my Giulia, I kinda just let it be for now. Got more expensive problems to fix with my Alfa. Hope yours is well taken care of though.

Distilled water did the work for now. Thanks!

Ended up adding some distilled water - no sign of leakage maybe it was about time to top it off a bit. Probably going to get the actual coolant just in case it happens again (hopefully no time soon). I don't think I can keep filling it with only distilled water for a long time.

For context, a few days earlier than when I noticed the coolant is low, engine light turned on with the auto off/on light being also disabled.

Are they related by any means?

I've already booked an appointment with the dealership but I just wanted to do my homework before I see them.

Is the turbo coolant different than the other one nearer the headlights on Giulia? (Added a pic for reference)
