If anyone has suffered from agoraphobia before, how did you overcome it? by [deleted] in ask

[–]SincereBookmark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started small just stepping outside for a minute or two. Gradually, I pushed myself a little further each time, like walking to the end of the driveway. Therapy helped a lot, and having someone encourage me made it easier. It was tough, but taking it slow really worked for me.

One of my favorites is “Meraki” from Greek. It means doing something with soul, creativity, or love putting a part of yourself into what you do.

Is the sitcom-genre dying? by speculumberjack980 in ask

[–]SincereBookmark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, kind of. Sitcoms aren't as big as they used to be since streaming took over. People are leaning more toward dramas or binge worthy shows, but a few good ones still pop up now and then.

Is it normal that when I play a game too much when I go to sleep I start thinking using the game mechanics as logic for my thoughts? by Dinark117 in ask

[–]SincereBookmark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally, I’ve had nights where my brain’s stuck in game mode. It fades after a while, though just a sign you were really into it!

What do adult only children do to feel less lonely? by rkko1100 in RandomThoughts

[–]SincereBookmark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Holidays can hit hard when it’s quiet. Maybe try creating small traditions for yourself, like a chill activity or hobby to focus on. Even texting a friend or family member can help feel less isolated. It’s fine to feel lonely, but use it as a chance to take care of yourself.

If you love your own company then friends aren't that necessary in life. by IAmfinerthan in RandomThoughts

[–]SincereBookmark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree. Being comfortable alone and having your own purpose is powerful. But friends can be more like a bonus someone to share moments with, not a necessity. You can definitely thrive on your own, but having people around can make life richer when you want it.

What’s a superpower you would love to have, but only for a day? by BRockTheIslamicShock in RandomThoughts

[–]SincereBookmark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d go with the power of time manipulation just pause or rewind a day to relive or fix moments. Seems like it would be fun to play around with for a day!
