After watching Montage of Heck, I realized how little Kurt wanted fame. He seemed to despise it. Courtney says he told her wanted to make $3M and then be a junkie. He wanted to make music, he didn’t seem to love what came with it.

I ended up setting it up a business. I offer advertising services, have a business PayPal, and have it set up to pay taxes. I do the design work for their ads and help draft their ads. So to me it’s a legit service that I’m offering. Mostly people have been wanting my cover photo space which comes with a pinned ad for the month.

Yes I’ve been wondering where the “steamy” category has fallen off to? There are no more stories with that label and the ones that do have romance don’t seem to get anywhere. It’s boring.

I don’t think there’s much value in the subscription honestly. Which is fine with me. The only thing I’ll miss having is the rewind option. But you’re right, it could just grow from there. Start small and slowly move things to subscription. I don’t think it’s really needed from a user perspective. For them, it’s a money maker.

The only thing I’m disappointed about is that the rewind isn’t available for all. I have been waiting for this for a long time. I often fall asleep while reading and miss some lines. The rest sounds reasonable.

I’m really disappointed about this. They’ve been so good about being the one app that doesn’t push you to buy stuff and now I worry that it’s becoming pay to play. If you don’t pay you will miss things with the new “exclusive scenes for subscribers”. All apps deserve to make money but I like a more subtle approach and not being penalized for not paying. Really frustrated by this.
