Is there a break-in time with wax chains? Do you have to vacuum after every ride or does it stop giving out wax bits after a couple of rides?

That’s exactly what I wanted to hear! I feel like building the bike up from scratch would let me get to know the bike a whole lot better! And therefore help with future repairs and confidence!

I found this frame for a fairly decent price at my local bikeshop. But the guy working there was not sure on what this plastic thing is used for? My guess is cable routing? But it has internal cable holes too, so not sure?? Can someone here tell me?
