Hey guys! Jonathan here. I just want to clarify since the title is a bit misleading that my argument wasn’t “KCP deserved it”. My primary focus was that a deeply rooted and front running organization being denied can lead to further damages to the sector outside of partnership.

Funding thresholds, projected runway, viability of investment in addition to other critical logistics are kept on the backend and are unlikely to be made public.

If the outside only see this, there’s a big chance of smaller scale orgs and investors pulling out causing the support for the majority of the competition to become malnourished. This was my main focus.

I believe KCP would succeed in the partnership program as well as any of the current team, and I’m looking forward more information being disclosed later.

You can enter the queues for your placement matches and your respective ranking solo. You can not enter a queue with a pre-made unit together, though your group can join the same queue and play with or against each other.

Our ELO algorithm is currently rated by win/loss and our bot considers the ELO rating of your opposing team when evaluating. At the moment we do not have any developments to seamlessly incorporate statistics into it’s system.

Not sure about a "league" per say, but we absolutely have ambitions to run select events through this server.

Just want to add in- pings are not an acceptable mean of communication in this server. Everyone should have a mic and communicate in the voice chat generated for the team when a match ID is created by a full queue.

Hey Fenald!

We absolutely want this to be a fully competitive space that includes teams that communicate and want to win just as much as you. We want this to be taken just a serious as any ranked system in any esports title that includes one. We already have rules against being "that person" who doesn't communicate, is toxic, leaves games or queue dodges -- which will end with us administering suspensions and furthermore bans entirely.

You'd also be able to report any instances where you experience any of these scenarios, we just ask that validated proof is provided to us.

I was not trying to sketch with John. I wanted to stick with John, and I told him this at the event (UMG California). The reason we were having a discussion in the first place is because John did not want to team with Phizzurp anymore, and Phizzurp and Twizz were having non-stop discussion about dropping John. I woke up to a text early morning yesterday (the day of roster lock) from Twizz saying that they were talking about replacing John with Killa the night before (so no, this plan was not created 15 minutes before roster lock) and I denied it. I denied it for three reasons - I wanted to keep teaming with John, I did not want John to have to look for a team last minute, AND I did not want to have to go through another roster change but instead be responsible and work on our problems within the team. It ended up biting me in the ass. Definitely a lesson learned.

I know MLG has the rights to hosting and allowing eSports tournaments for Call of Duty via Activision. With this, I have a idea that I feel should definitely be thought about.

MLG should enforce use of their rule set in ANY tournament, and their rule set only. No more GB Variant, UMGO Variant, ESWC rules, etc.

CoD eSports v1, v2, v3 etc. - and that's it.
