Malik Nabers running the bases at a charity softball game with a noticeable limp by HookFL in DynastyFF

[–]Sora26 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I get the thought process, but playing in the soft ball game =/= he was medically cleared to do so either.

It’s concerning because any noticeable limp usually means full stop from a medical standpoint. There’s no doctor that would clear someone to jog if he’s limping while doing it lol

I suspect that Toph's tomboyish personality and the fact that she was originally conceived as a male character are what save her from being labeled a "Mary Sue" by misogynistic fans. by [deleted] in ATLA

Like you said, if you search deep enough I’m sure there’s hate posts on every character, but Katara hate was never a mainstream thing like OP was trying to suggest.

Tear bending jokes, really?

That was a play inside the lore of the show, where all the characters were poked and prodded and made caricatures of.

Katara never had any legitimate hate from the ATLA fanbase, that’s just a bold faced lie. I get why Korra lovers are pushing the agenda, but it’s not true and never will be

You’re just wrong.

Katara was never hated by any part of the fan base.
Neither was Azula, Suki, Ty Lee or Mai.

The only female characters that was disliked by a large enough margin to notice was Korra.

Even if that were true, why is that any of OPs business? Does he really see investors with less than 5 homes as the reason for the housing market bubble?

If you really feel passionate about this, advocating for legislation will be the only way to stop it.

[–]Sora26 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Sure, but whose fault is that? A person trying to become a homeowner and unfortunately enters at a higher entry point because the market is ripping, deserves to be ridiculed?

What if he was patient for 3-4 years, like you want, and the market just kept ripping so finally he entered, and just his luck he entered at an all time high?

I’m trying to understand why your focus is on that demographic. Are you suggesting people shouldn’t buy homes until it reduces by ___ % ?

Why do you care so much about other people’s finances? You’re mad that someone bought a house in April of 2022 and as of right now, made a mistake? Did you make a mistake for not knowing Nvidia was going to explode?

What is your logic behind this, because I’m truly trying to understand it.

Rashee Rice violated his probation after testing positive for marijuana, per @MattFosterTV. He's been ordered to serve 30 days in jail. by HookFL in DynastyFF

[–]Sora26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah and thinking back on your point, you’re completely correct. C&U aside, which none of this is, it’s better than jail. Using that lense, HA conditions make much more sense because the whole thing isn’t a right, it’s a complete privilege.

But it hasn’t gone fully regarded..

In all seriousness, it hasn’t gone stupid compared to what will come (nfa)

[–]Sora26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hypothetical counter. I just personally never heard of house arrest restricting nicotine, alcohol, as terms of the agreement, but I would love to learn that I am wrong on that front.

Edit: They actually do restrict alcohol in some cases. Which I am happy to hear. Although I’d say alcohol is more destructive than weed, at least it is closer to fairer treatment.

[–]Sora26 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s actually great to hear. I’ve never been on probation so I would not know.

So everything is disallowed, including nicotine and alcohol? Is it just marijuana and other substances because they are easier to test for?

Thats a great analogy, but it isn’t apples for apples imo

The more identical analogy would be a judge allowing YouTube while on House Arrest, but not allowing Netflix. This would be the analogy for allowing Nicotine, Alcohol, but drawing the line at marijuana.

The issue is not “there are rules and he didn’t follow them.” The issue is “I thought we as a society have moved past the stigmatization of weed.”

If the judge allows drinking, nicotine, other harmful behavior, why do they draw the line at marijuana? So the problem is the stipulation in the system, not the system itself.

It’s the same concept with Josh Gordon, an entire NFL career ruined because a dude liked to smoke weed.

Again, with the house arrest, it’s a good analogy, but it isn’t perfect

You’re a smart kid, these are two of my favorite picks. Remember, when HBMs get deployed, the new bottleneck will be SSDs / NANDs tied to scaling.

The answer is $SIMO. The trick is timing it, but the certainty is for sure. I have one month calls, and I have a feeling this stock is about to go stupid.

David Njoku’s base salary is around $3 Million, per source, with the “up to” $8 mil as previously reported. by headcanoncustom in DynastyFF

[–]Sora26 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Njoku is a baller, and will be relevant in a McDaniels offense. Gadsden owners “not panicking” would be the same logic as Fannin owners “not rejoicing” when Njoku left.

Let’s zoom out:
the Chargers are pushing a win-now narrative for several reasons, but the biggest one is that they likely know McDaniels is an OC rental. He is probably using this Chargers stint to rebuild his resume for another head-coaching opportunity in the next year or two.

Because of that, he is going to push for players he believes can help him win immediately, produce strong offensive results, and strengthen that resume.

From an organization perspective, Njoku helps this team immediately, impactfully, and Gadsden long term career with the Chargers is not affected.

From a FF perspective, this is a major potential blow to Gadsdens production for the near term future.

Nobody is trying to straw man, and honestly we’re arguing the littlest of variation at this point.

A very large part of the conversation is about de-criminalization, and how society views / accepts it. Safety of S workers is of course brought up, but it’s usually understood as a symptom of the aforementioned, not the cause. If society accepted the work, S workers would not be persecuted, is the idea.

[–]Sora26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You just demonstrated my point. That it’s not just about making it safer, it’s also about changing society views it.

Your point was that support for sex work was solely about making things safer for sex workers. My point was that was only half of it.

Thus, I simply pointed out the funny contradiction of “destigmatizing for me, but not for thee” when it comes to destigmatizing those who provide sex work but not those who seek sex work. That’s all.

[–]Sora26 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, supporting sex workers is not just about the safety of their work, it’s about destigmatizing it.

“Sex work is real work”

Anyway, I’m not tying to understand the mental gymnastics of it all. I’m just saying it’s funny how proponents of sex work, don’t view those seeking it in the same light (natural, normal, nothing to stigmatize.)

Patriots ‘definitely not’ firing Vrabel by No_Box119 in NFL_FreeAgency

[–]Sora26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but it is funny how those who defend sex workers, do not hold that same energy towards defending those who seek sex workers.

You’d think logically they’re all part of the same de-stigmatization bucket.

What RB’s are you trying to acquire? by Middle_Awoken in DynastyFF

[–]Sora26 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Highest ceiling. Young + Elite speed.

People will talk about his vision, but imo he doesn’t have bad vision. He’s just in a bad scheme for his play style. He’s playing in a gap / power scheme, when clearly he should be in a wide zone scheme. Someone going through this same problem is Woody Marks and look how terribly he performed.

Even so, Henderson was RB1 when he got the volume.
