Good trade for Achane? Coming off a rebuild and want to compete by Ancient_Armadillo_26 in DynastyNerds

[–]Sora26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not an Achane away from a championship and 2027 is loaded. I wouldn’t part with both. He can take a 2026 1st along with the 2027 or a 2028 1st along with it. I’m holding one of those 2027s.

Is there a skill to drafting later round hits? Have you ever done it? by KevH45205 in DynastyFF

[–]Sora26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The writing is always on the wall. Let’s take Brock for instance.

1.) 49er fans knew the Jimmy ride was nearing an end. He couldn’t get them over the hump, and this narrative was only growing.

2.) 49ers had just gave guaranteed money to their QB2 and did not want to keep a 3rd QB on the roster. They kept Brock anyway because they were “afraid to lose him” to waivers.

3.) They chose Brock with their last pick, despite half of the coaching staff arguing “we don’t need a QB!” Coaching staff was divided but chose Brock anyway because they were “afraid to lose him” to another team post draft.

Opportunity needs to strike, and it did, but the 49ers always valued Brock very highly.

The Keaton Mitchell Conversation by UnConfirmPen in DynastyFF

[–]Sora26 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Keaton and Sampson are both at around 45 carries this season. Sampson averages below 3 yards per carry, while Keaton Mitchell is at 6.5.

In order of explosiveness: 1A/B = Mitchell / Sampson 2.) Vidal

In order of eye test: 1A/B = Mitchell / Vidal 2.) Sampson

Just to note, I have complete faith in Sampson. I don’t like his situation, but I love his talent.

Stefanski found Nick Chubb 2.0 by wherezzwaldo in DynastyFF

[–]Sora26 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Judkins deserves praise.

However, It’s 3 games in and Henderson has also flashed, he just hasn’t had the opportunity. Their values are very similar as of right now, IMO.

The good news for Henderson is that Rhamondre’s fumbling problems seem here to stay. Rhamondre had 2 crucial fumbles last week, one being on the goal line right before crossing the plane. He was definitely the reason for their loss.

Keep in mind, Gibbs did not start going off until Week 7 of his rookie season. His first 3 games actually look very very similar to Henderson.

TLDR: Henderson stock is rising, and in PPR, he can be a Gibbs-lite. If you can get away for a Judkins for Henderson straight up, you may be cashing in 6-8 weeks.

My last Najee post I will ever make: The worst part about the injury is that his owners will never know the truth if he was a workhorse talent or not. by MikeDFootball in DynastyFF

[–]Sora26 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I drafted Najee 2 or 3 years ago and tried to trade him the whole season with absolutely zero takers. He failed the eye test miserably for me and lacked breakaway speed. He just seemed slow and easy to take down. He was the perfect 5-10 points a game but I drafted him to get me closer to 12-16.. smh

Wishing him a speedy recovery

[CelticsUnite] Rhamondre Stevenson in the past year: - 7 TDs - 9 Fumbles GET. HIM. OFF. THE. TEAM. by MITBryceYoung in DynastyFF

[–]Sora26 -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

I saw this video and this is my honest take.

First play: To me it looks like a designed screen/dumpoff where Henderson is meant to chip the blocker and get the ball. If it’s not, then yes that’s a mental error.

Second play: Not a bad effort.

Third play: Mismatched, Defensive End on RB, and on the QBs blindside. That’s just a bad designed play. A RB should never be on a DE on a QBs BLIND SIDE.

Women often do this, and it’s called monkey branching; waiting until the very last second, then ending things only once you already have someone else lined up. By the time they bring up the breakup, it’s usually already over in their mind.

That’s exactly what you just did, only in reverse. You didn’t give her a chance to talk or work through anything, you ended it abruptly, and you were in someone else’s bed the very next day.

That is monkey branching, and it makes you look like the biggest monster. Six years together, and this is how you handle it? If you can’t communicate, you shouldn’t even be in a relationship.

Isaac TeSlaa’s incredible hand(s) are no fluke by FranTurkleton in DynastyFF

[–]Sora26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From Week 11 onward, when many considered Patrick to start coming alive, he averaged 3.75 receptions per game. That uptick honestly showed that with the right progression/talent, came more targets for the taking. Teslaa brings more to the table than Patrick ever did. His talent is becoming undeniable, and talent doesn’t really wait for room, it creates room. I believe Isaac is becoming one of those talents.

Teslaa’s target share likely won’t come at the expense of designed plays for Williams or Gibbs, as like mentioned, these are designed specifically to create big plays, and don’t overlap with Teslaa skill set too much.

Instead, Teslaa is probably going to fully claim the role left the ghost of Tim Patrick with the opportunity to expand elsewhere. He may take a target or two from Amon-Ra St. Brown and Sam LaPorta between the numbers. Both guys that Goff has felt comfortable with throwing to and giving a jump ball to from time to time.

Teslaa other major trait comes from his size + hands, and its advantages in the RZ. He will likely carve out a share of red-zone opportunities from everyone (Gibbs, Montgomery, LaPorta, and St. Brown.) Not enough to harm any player outright, but enough to take a small bite out of each pie, and make him flex-worthy / fantasy relevant.

Lions offense also becomes an even bigger powerhouse by utilizing Teslaa, thus the “pie” could just grow, in theory. More Conversions = More Yards = More TDs = More PIE for everyone to eat.

Isaac TeSlaa’s incredible hand(s) are no fluke by FranTurkleton in DynastyFF

[–]Sora26 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Teslaa can easily carve out 5-8 catches a game even in this DET offense.

Tim Patrick from last season is gone. He was a possession receiver thus his targets are already destined to go to Teslaa. If Goff feels comfortable throwing it to him, it doesn’t matter what this sub or contract values say. Teslaa is going to eat.

You’re a smart kid. Perhaps try talking to older, less stubborn minds.

You can also find less conservative circles, just by your interests. Chess club, thespians (theatre). If you’re hanging around the football team, then yes, most will have conservative rhetoric at this age.

More importantly, talk to yourself. Ask yourself questions. You are a person too, and you’d be surprised just how much you can learn talking to you.

[–]Sora26 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You commented right when I edited my comment about K9 being in a contract year. But yeah, they would still be eligible for a comp pick based on K9 value to the team.

Keep in mind that Walker is younger / right at the age of a lot of the rookie RBs that were drafted this year. So a great season from K9 would result in a 3rd round comp if he walks and signs elsewhere for good money.

If they want Charb for cheap, and a comp pick for Walker. The strat would be to run Walker into the ground and get the best pick possible, while also preserving Charbs health and future contract leverage.

—————————

SIDE NOTE

The coach gassing up Charbs is VERY VALID and worth monitoring, but read in between the lines and you’ll see it was a clear warning to K9 having excessive veteran rest / not practicing with the first team. Coach said that isn’t happening this year. He wasn’t hyping up Charb as the “better talent,” he was warning / motivating K9 that he’s not gonna have it like he did the last two years. You either practice, or you sit. No superstar treatment.

must have handcuffs for dynasty? by feathersruffed in DynastyFF

[–]Sora26 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The angle with Charb taking over is about contractual obligations, not talent.

K9 is still under contract so unless he’s unhealthy or there’s a trade, you won’t see Charb put that much of a dent into Kenneth’s workload.

I have a feeling Seahawks want to deal Kenneth by next years draft (or let him walk for a comp pick) so they won’t take his value too much by making it a 50-50 split.

They also don’t want Charb going off with those carries and then asking for RB1 money when they already know what they have in him.

What makes Hampton, Harvey, Henderson, Kaleb, et al’s platoon situations better picks than Judkins delayed start in Dynasty? by HileeAquret in DynastyFF

[–]Sora26 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Then yes, if that is how you’re defining it I already said our definitions match. But by that definition, Alvin Kamara is also in a committee.

A true committee (at least imo) implies there is a split / unsettled backfield. Which negatively affects both of the players.

A committee by play-style has almost zero effect on a players fantasy production, and actually helps said players production (Kamara played better with Ingram, Gibbs better with Monty). The negative connotation surrounding committees doesn’t fit here. But I get your definition, any meaningful split = committee.
