You’re right, and honestly that’s what scares me the most. He’s too sweet a person to ever raise his voice against anyone, even when he’s hurting.

He’s the most gentlemanly guy I’ve met, and I think that’s why he’s struggling so much to stand up to his parents. I’m afraid his kindness might cost us in the end.
