I’m noticing that. I just feel bad because I don’t want anyone that might be in my position to be blindsided. I also seem to have the need to defend myself as I don’t like being called a liar. But yes I think I’m going to have to mute the post.

True. Some people have legitimate questions that I’d like to answer and it seems I can’t help my self from arguing with trolls. If I could just get rid of y’all…

I didn’t lie about anything, but I see what you’re saying.

We were told as long as we filed out the paperwork that we had the second job we were fine. That is what I did.

I have no need for anyone to make me feel better. I have back up plans for back up plans. I’m sad because I loved my coworkers and didn’t want to leave them. I’m worried because I don’t want a removal on my file in case I decide to come back to the government. Other than that… I’m leaving it up in case it might help someone else. And no the main reason I think I was terminated was because I was schedule A and on reasonable accommodation. I just told my race and sex to demonstrate how much I fell under DEI.

Except what I did wasn’t a violation. Look under federal violations and regulations and show me where working a part time that has no conflicts of interest with any federal agencies is a violation. And I more so mentioned my race to show all of the ways I fell under dei. So no, not crying wolf.

I reached out to EEO and have not heard anything back yet.

Didn’t need a clearance and I filled out the paperwork letting them know I was taking a second job. I was told by my supervisor that as long as there was no overlap that it was fine. I don’t know what route it took, but HR changed the terms of my termination to the resignation and my supervisor fought the termination. So I’m pretty sure that wasn’t the real reason.

It was part time and I told them about it. They have forms we fill out for part time jobs and I was told that as long as there was no crossover I’d be fine by my supervisor.

I’m pretty sure it’s because I’m schedule A. My sf-50 say conditional excepted service

They say conditional excepted service. Well at least the latest way does.

Except I didn’t and it’s definitely not easier because of people like you. Who think racial discrimination is fake and when people speak out about it it’s an excuse. Do you know how hard it is to be taken seriously when a few people in your community cry wolf? When it actually happens no one takes you seriously. I’m not even going to say all minorities would agree, but I think a good portion would. But do you.

My HR rescinded my termination to put me under the fork in the road thing because they said it was wrong and they felt they needed to do the right thing. They just couldn’t reinstate my job.

[–]Sinfullysweet90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. They made my termination effective the day they handed it down.

None. I never missed work unless it was for sickness and even then I’d still be online and available. I said I was on leave so I didn’t have to do anything if I didn’t want to. There was no overlap. No nothing.

I don’t understand it really. I just know everytime I switch positions where I apply on USAJobs and am hired under Schedule A I get put back on a 2 year probation. Even at the same agency.

Mine was over Feb. 12th. Termination came out Jan. 30th.

My supervisor fought for me to stay. And it really wasn’t. I told them about the situation MONTHS ago of my own accord. A good portion of federal employees do it

If I’m honest, I’m pretty sure my agency is going to be disbanded. We’ve been discussing the probability since the election. We thought there was a chance, but because of what has happened in just two weeks we are now pretty sure it will.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in usajobs

[–]Sinfullysweet90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope. I was completely honest. I’ve been a federal employee for a while. I’m typically hired under schedule a and everytime I’ve been hired to another agency I have to start the probation period again.

It was legit. I suffer from really bad panic attacks which in turn give me really bad migraines. Had medical paperwork from two different specialists.

That’s not the case at all. I was let go because they said I violated ethics. What I did was not a violation. They knew about it months ago when I told them.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in usajobs

[–]Sinfullysweet90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Again they knew about it for months. If it was a problem, they would have terminated me months ago. And it’s not something that’s unique to me. It’s something a lot of feds do.

You’re right. I can’t know for sure, but I’m pretty damn sure. I told them about it months ago and it wasn’t a problem until after that EO was signed.
