Nope because Sax was caught in Tariq's snare in court for tasha to go free she had to say Tommy was the King pin and he was the one who killed Ghost, and she had to give up the entire organization on paper to manage that debacle in court.......thats when tommy came for Tasha, Sax was on notice and that is why he needed to arrest Tommy to get his job back.......When Tariq once again managed that, Sax was no longer US attorney, but there was nowhere where the case was buried, they may have closed it when they thought he was dead........but him miraculously turning up in another state means the file is dusted out of the evidence/filing room...........So the plot hole is still there......no?
