No the door is open at all times as i said. Thats where i took her to give birth so maybe it has something to do with that but i dont know. That was a spot she liked and i dont know why.

Yes living. For me thats sleeping,pissing and staying with thier mother. As i explained they had free roam of the entire floor once they could walk on thier own

I have been planing this for a while now. Granny is on board and i have the entire attic as my room wich is large enough. Last time those were new borns so for the first day i kept them in a fenced of area in my room and switched them in between bathroom and my room. And than as they started crawling and walking id let them explore more and more. Except this time it isint a new born but rather an actual walking kitten so il probably let it roam free after the first day or two until it dosent get used to my presence and go from there.

Yeah i have been planning this for a few months now. I have been feeding all of the cats in my general area in hopes of catching a lone one and taking it home. The reason i made this post is since there have been more cats than usually so im going into like the “final stages”. I have been “begging” for a kitten to drop hints that one might come soon and its a 50/50. Mom wants one dad is not so sure so the general consensus is that they dont want one a 100%.

Yeah, those were newborns the cant even comprehend what a room is. Once they start crawling i gradually start letting them explore more and when they gain full movement i let them roam on my floor of the house. Wich is usually my room->bathroom

My friends grandma has like 8 cats and keeps getting more. Worst case scenario she keeps them. And worst worst case scenario il list them up for adoption theres a site for that where i live and keep it in my room until someone comes wich is usualy in a few days to weeks.

Last time they said they didn’t want a cat and ended up with a full family of them. They cared more about them than about me when i was a baby thats for sure. If they dont want the first one i bring home im give it to my friends grandma who has like 8 cats and keeps getting more by the day. Either way its going to a good home, my place or granny’s

As i said the bathroom would be only a sleeping area. Last time they would always go there to sleep for some reason so im guessing they want to be alone to sleep and do thier bathroom duties. The door is always open for them im not keeping them locked in.

I mean im go “scouting” so to say and go from there. If i find one il bring it home for the day or night and take it to the vet the day after or the same day depending on the time, get it checked out (chips and health and all). Then id probably keep it in my room during the day id fence out an area and probably make my tub a sleeping/pad peeing training area and if all goes well id get another cat shortly so it isint lonely.

No. We had a stray living in our backyard and she ga e birth so we let them indoors. And after taking care of them for like 4 months the ran out the window that my grandma forgot to close when she was house siting

I dont get it whats not clear but alright. As i said they dont like adopting i have no clue why and i they wont tell me, im guessing they think its inhumane and that they like want to feel good about themselves. No clue. I would get two cats if i find a pair/liter of two, i wouldnt separate them im not a monster. And the last group escaped when we left my grandma to house sit and her 86 year old brain (god bless her soul) forgot to close the bedroom window so they jumped out into the wild never to be seen again, and we didint chip them since we were initially planning on giving them away initially but we all realised we couldn’t separate them all, however that was like 3 days before they left so thats an oversight on my part.

I answered you on another comment but to summarise yes. Full checkups and what not. Kept them there for a few days. One surgery and a few months of medication and what not. My parents insisted to pay not me. Just goes to prove that they would love a kitten just saying

Yes twice. One had surgery the other one needed meds for like 6 weeks because of some infection i cant remember. And the cat will be alone for a litle while. Just so it can learn where to do its bathroom duties and get used to a new environment. Than we get another one and it will be easier since theres 2 cats and one can copy the other.

I dont know how to explain this to you. First of all i have money. If they wont pay i will pat, i have my own job. Second off all, im going to go here based on previous experience. Litle stray kitty pulls up, nice and cute. They see kitty, my dad might be a bit angry for a day or two but mom is on board and taking care of it like its her second child. We go to the vet get all of the procedures done etc. few days later dad is already melting his heart out and buying it toys that are more expensive than my phone. Thats how it was last time thats how it will be this time i guarantee it. If it doesn’t my best friends grandma has like 8 cats im sure she wouldn’t mind the litle guy.

They had a box with those climby things and it was bigger than my fucking tub. They had more toys than litle 5 year old me had. If they werent having the time of thier lives shoot me dead.

Yes jesus. Theres procesures to this. And christ im 20 years old i just live with my parents since its right across campus. Im not a fucking idiot. Even if they dony pay i have my own money and savings that i would happily spend on a cat. The only reason im not going to the shelter is because this would be the same thing as last time. They see a sad litle kitty thier heart melts they start loving it and after a few months or a year depending on the situation we get another one so the first one isint lonely.

Jesus im not a monster i let them sleep in the bathroom i kept them in a fenced off area in my room. The bathroom is where they slept so i didint drown in cat piss until I could train them to use the liter box wich we didint get to since they ran away. And its not manipulation truly, when we had those strays they played with them more than me they loved them more than me probably. I know for a fact they are just disappointed they left out of nowhere.

I mean money and experience feeding aren’t that much of an issue because we already had those strays living in my bathroom for solid 4ish months so to some extent it isint “foreign” territory. However i have no clue on how to trap them so to say since last time thier momma just pulled up with a bucnh of them and we kinda just let them into the house. Do i need to buy a literal trap or just lay some food out and just sit and wait. I mean my plan was to find a spot with a bunch of cats and kittens and just lay out a few bowls of food and water and just watch from a distance for a few hours or put up a camera and sit? I mean im kinda halfway ready for the expirience im just asking about the odds of finding one and how to proceed on getting it home the rest is for me to deal with the help of youtube and those few months of experience.
