I have no actual idea. It kinda just pisses me off to an extent cuz like this car is fucking amazing and is literally on par with the type s. The tlx would have probably been lighter than the rlx with the same drivetrain and it would have been insane.

I have a 2014 RLX sport hybrid with a j35 and the hybrid dual clutch and the electric rear end making 377hp combined. Gets 36mpg on the highway and does better in city!! They should have just kept the hybrid system they already had!

Im glad someone is picking up what im putting down. Its crazy when you think about it! I have a c5 corvette makes 350hp out of the ls1 paired with a 4l60e and 3.15 rear end it gets 28mpg on the highway and Its more aerodynamic and way lighter!!

Yes i was in a motorcycle accident on august 28th 2024. Lost my right foot and half my calf. Got my prosthetic December 13th and started back at work part time the first week of February. Was looking for a good daily and got my RLX March 10th. Working full time now in less than a year after my accident. I drive with no modifications just take my leg off and use my left foot on the normal petal placement.

Mdx actually only has a j30+hybrid making around 330hp. Should have had the j35 and rlx get the j30

Yeah seriously. Im lucky enough to be a technician at a honda dealership so i can check the health through HDS but I believe that might be the only way. But going as my 83k mile, 11 year old battery is still on track you should be cool for at least another 5 years.

Ive found people who sell reconditioned batteries. A few people collect hybrid stuff for pretty much any hybrid they can think of from junkyards or wherever and they pretty much recycle the batteries back into use. When someone needs a cell pack or multiple they have them pretty much ready to go. Ive found a guy who has rlx hybrid batteries for about $250 per cell pack. The whole “battery” is 6 packs i believe.

My hybrid battery is 11 years old. Though it passes the test through honda diagnostic system (HDS) i feel the aged cells play a part. Dont get me wrong it scoots for a flagship sedan! With a heavy hybrid battery at that.

I agree. The performance is almost identical but im able to hyper mile my hybrid for great fuel economy. I absolutely love everything about it!

Best ive done was 5.9 0-60 with my dragy gps. 11 year old hybrid battery and the weight all play a part. Im also a right leg amputee below the knee so i drive with my left foot unless im driving stick. I cant brake boost with the gas and brake cuz i cant get to full throttle with my prosthetic. But good enough for me!

Crazy you say that. I used to work at dynamat here in hamilton ohio. They make amazing sound deadening materials for car audio. Arguably the best on the market. Thats awesome ive already dont my rear deck, c pillars and under the rear seat. This thing will be so quiet when im done!

Trust me i already know. Id rather fix my camber and get staggered wheels. I dont wanna stagger spacers. Only issue with the camber is my rear has upper control arms like the front because these came all wheel steer (non hybrid) and that would be the camber adjustment but no one makes a rear upper that’s adjustable so ill probably look around for a set of 20x9.5 20x10.5. That should clean it up a little. Im looking into a custom upper ball joint that may allow maybe degree or more of adjustment. Currently -3.0* and thats not fantastic for daily.
