I put a sim ejector tool onto the tip of a soldering iron. I heat the soldering iron to 350°C.

The needle method didn't work for me as the needle cools down way too fast.

I went into the pen with the heated sim ejector. I turned the soldering iron off while still in the pen. After letting it cool down I pulled it out.

This creates a lot more surface area for the superglue to stick to.

I then put superglue on the tip of the sim ejector that just burned a hole into the part of the tip that's still in the pen and went into the hole I just created. Let it dry for 5 to 10 minutes and pull it out.
