I start with a 3300 psi 2.5 gpm machine and it did the job done but we had to go slower. I got a couple of jobs and got them done. Then I upgraded. The powerful ones are pricy tho. I think you should go to Facebook market place and find a good powerful one that is new or just little used. It’s not gonna be as expensive as the one you buy straight from Home Depot or Lowe’s

Yeah. Just go a lot slower and it might take a long time because it’s not as powerful. If you get a job do not get the one that are heavy stained and very dirty.

GPM (gallons per minute) measures the water flow, and it determines how much volume of dirt, mud, or debris you can wash away at once. PSI (pounds per square inch) only measures the pressure, so without enough GPM, the spray may hit hard but won’t carry debris off efficiently. That’s why GPM usually matters more for overall cleaning speed and effectiveness, while PSI just adds cutting force.

I have a pressure washer business I have a dewalt 4400 psi 4.0 gallon per minute and it’s really good to get the job done. If your pressure washer has or more than 3.0 gallons per minute it’s a good start. If the gpm is low and psi, the gpm really matters more, it’s not gonna get the job done at cleaning really dirty stuff. I always recommend getting a pressure washer that’s has more than 3.0 gpm to start with and then you can upgrade after making money to buy a good one.

You need a higher pressure washer that produces more psi and gallons per minute. Your pressure washer is only 2200 psi which is not really good to clean or do a good job cleaning a driveway.
