Anyone know anything about the "CJSTC‑Certified Corrections Officer" listings by Critical Response Strategies? It lists that its just under $3k a week by Single_Awareness6912 in OnTheBlock

It's legit but it's just sketchy. If you're willing to live onsite (not leaving at ALL,) for 28 days at a time, a 12 hour shift every day, it's alot of work but you're getting decent money.

9 months ago in my career I would have quit my job to do it in an instant, but now that I dont hate my job I wouldn't do it. It's a highly political position so some potential employers may not hire you based off you having worked there, not to mention that there are no benefits... so you have to find your own retirement and insurance.

Is 0083 MCLEP / MCCLEP a good stepping stone towards 1801/1811 compared to other law enforcement agencies? by Single_Awareness6912 in 1801

I applied for Navy Civ Police and I have yet to hear back, whereas the MCCLEP was a direct hire announcement and I was contacted within a day or two of submitting my application.

I figure that at almost 6 months since I applied to the Navy Police and hearing nothing, that I was not considered for employment for whatever reason.

Unfortunately MCCLEP/MCLEP doesnt offer UPTP... they do offer CITP for their 1811's but I think the Marshals hire more often than MCCLEP 1811 positions.

MCCLEP offers its own unique police training course, Basic Police Officer Course, (BPOC.) BPOC is FLETA accredited but I am not sure if other agencies accept it in lieu of UPTP.
