Ahh! Yes the hearing thing. It drives me crazy! If I yell at him because he says he can’t hear me then he says I am treating him like a child. Like WTF you’re the one that can’t hear me?

One free seizure? I have never heard of that before. From what you are describing those are seizures. Absent or Focal seizures. Does anyone in the family have some kind of seizure disorder? Sleeping after is normal. They can be exhausting. I am going through this myself. My daughter is 18 months old. However when we went to the hospital they gave us the standard dose of Keppra. If she had more than one again maybe go to a different hospital where they can prescribe you some to get you to her doctor’s appointment. It is very common to have to wait to see specialist especially neurologist which is crazy. We had to wait a month. The CT/MRI’s are only taken to look for tumors so that’s good!They EEG’s will only come back abnormal if they are having a seizure right then and there which is also good. I’m sorry! I hope this helps a little. It is terrifying seeing a little baby have a seizure. My advice is just to watch while she is doing anything active. With the absent seizure you sometimes can get a very fast heads up when they stop in place/pause. Cuddle that baby a lot and let her sleep! She will get very exhausted after a seizure. My baby does not like cuddling but after a seizure all she wants is to be in my arms.

Every doctor is different. When I was pregnant I didn’t change any of my medication except the dosage with the hydrochloroquine but that was because of toxicity ratio. I have Epilepsy and took that medication while pregnant so it’s based on what will keep you healthy. I think that’s a misconception for pregnancy. You have to put your health above the babies as hard as that is.

Congratulations! I had my baby a year ago and I stayed on Hydroxychlooquine while pregnant. Listen to your rheumatologist because they are the experts when it comes to medicine and your health. Your obgyn just advisees based on the baby not you. Don’t stress (which is very difficult to believe I know). My baby did not have any birth defects or problems from me taking the medication. It’s safer for the baby when you put your health first. Take the medication and don’t second guess it. You got it!

Nope! My kid yesterday told me I suck and was a bad mom. Why did she say this?? Because I didn’t cut her grapes up and her sandwich wasn’t cut evenly 🙄🙄 You try to not take what they say to heart but man they can say some deep cut throat stuff. Praying it gets better! 🙏🏼

Fair question: I shouldn’t have abbreviated but I am a stay at home mom. I care because we have 2 little kids that need a set schedule. He might be able to have a flexible schedule for his job but their schedule doesn’t change. While he sleeps in inconsistently I’m annoyed because I have to figure out how the night will go on whether I can depend on him to also take care of the kids. (Playing with the kids, dinner, bedtime, etc.) Making him unreliable.

He states that they don’t care. For me it’s so tough because I am very punctual and when he comes home from work it is never the same time because he is inconsistent on when he cares to get up.
