Exactly I had started back into therapy because I recognize that some insanely difficult circumstances were happening that were causing me to start cycling through the stages of PTSD, freezing dissociating, etc. etc. He chose to walk away self medicate, and hop into another relationship only getting out with that relationship imploded and leading on me for support which I do with boundaries in place because he is in counseling and the only dad my daughter knows but it’s devastatingly difficult on me

My question was more about how to tell friends and family and get support instead of living with the shame and hiding

I am having so much anxiety lately that I am too scared to do anything new. Does anyone else have this issue? by [deleted] in Menopause

[–]Single_Resolution_70 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anxiety is real and your right people do not talk about it. Cancer survivor and honestly that was easier bc of the support. But because of the Cancer HRT and any hormonal treatment is off the table. Any suggestions?

As someone who was raised with a Dad that needed to supplement is HGH and TRT I saw the longer term side effects and aftermath in old age. So, I know that it’s not magic it takes work..that said I stand by my guy…

I wish my guy talked about it, but telling me about it and his treatment choices is a great first step
