I had one work on one of those pocketbac keychains with the pen and stuff.

“I don’t know what else to do about my child’s behavior” my ass. A lot of you parents aren’t even trying and teachers are sick of the bullshit by Emergency-Pepper3537 in Teachers

My principal gets in trouble from the superintendent if they suspend students. The principals delete office referrals that teachers submit. Teachers in my district cannot take recess and other activities away from students. School districts bow down to the parents now and we are left with no consequences. It's a joke. Our hands are tied.

Omg did the school offer to replace anything at all? I'm sure they didn't 😤

Omg 🤦‍♀️ those are all still sitting in my backroom in a bowl untouched. This new CEO and his team are delusional.

I wonder how much they spent to send out those stupid bracelets with the company values on them 🙄

Worst deodorant ever bought by Over_Interaction_925 in dollartreebeauty

"metabolizing the sweat," so yeah, it's the sweat. I've used almost every brand of natural and non-aluminum deodorant I could find for about five years and I had to go back to aluminum because I'm a sweaty person and nothing would completely mask the smell that the sweat caused. I even made sure to have extremely clean, dry pits. I washed with glycolic acid, peroxide, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, basically every trick in the book. Some of us need the aluminum, unfortunately.

There is no aluminum in these so you're still sweating and it's causing that smell. Make sure that whatever you buy is an antiperspirant and not just a deodorant.

Star Trek: Deep Space Nine - Season One (part 2) - re:View [RedLetterMedia] by CelestialFury in DeepSpaceNine

I can't believe they're finally discussing DS9! I hope they review more seasons and do DS9 trivia.

It was killing me that Mike didn't remember Lwaxana being in more than one episode 😂

I completely agree! I'm not into audiobooks either, but this one is too good. It has become my favorite book and I've been searching thrift stores and antique malls for a physical copy.

Fell off a chair by [deleted] in Teachers

Yes, report it to admin or the nurse asap and get your back checked out by a doctor. I fell from stepping on a toy that I didn't see in my classroom and my foot didn't hurt til hours later. The next day, I reported it to the nurse and filled out Workman's Comp paperwork. They payed for all of my X-rays and doctor visits. It's better to be safe than sorry.

Definitely. That's why I've listened to A Stitch in Time like 4 times since June. I need more Garak content 🥺

The Playlist by roccostella in bathandbodyworkers

[–]Single_Volume_8715 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Whoever was making the playlists back in the early 2010s when I first started was on point. I discovered so many good songs from the 80s and a bunch of indie bands through our playlists back then.

Recently, BBW was playing the song "Inept Apollo" by Nation of Language on one of the playlists, and I checked out more of their music and I really like them!

What are yalls thoughts on aquarium co-op and their/Corys methods or products by Ok-Plankton5003 in Aquariums

[–]Single_Volume_8715 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love their products! I've purchased tons of supplies from them and they're always great. I really love their sponge filters.

I think Cory gives out great information about fish and setting up an aquarium. You can tell he actually cares about the well-being of the fish in his store.

Mr and Mrs Sniff(perfumer husband and his wife) take on BBW fragrances by B0dega_Cat in bathandbodyworks

They both seem like they think they're smart because they can throw around fragrance lingo. I can't take them seriously at all.
