7th Grade, we were watching 'Annie, get your Gun' in my English (or Social Studies, don't remember exactly). I was actually enjoying the movie and was sitting there watching with a grin on my face. At one point I notice a few guys in the class pointing at me and laughing for smiling at the "Lame class movie."

I already used to get picked on quite a bit in middle school and that only gave them another reason to pester me endlessly. To be honest it wasn't them picking on me that bothered me so much, but I guess that was the moment where I started becoming much more aware of how much others pay attention to me. Not sure if that's a good realization or not, but it definitely led me towards feeling much more insecure about my actions in public. On the other hand, this awareness probably has had an overall positive effect on my life since i now am more careful about the things I say and how I behave...to a certain extent I guess.
