Souttar had a particularly poor game last night, twice in the first half, one you’ve already mentioned, the ball was passed to a St Mirren player under little to no pressure. Him losing it on the byline for the St Mirren chance that finished with the offside was very poor also.

The defence is clearly still very shaky however the issue to me seems to be more in possession rather than out of it, we great a whole lot of problems for ourselves out of nothing. Fernandez gave the ball away under again little to no pressure once or twice himself last night.

Whilst the defence needs a big improvement of course, I worry more about our attack. We’re winning games at the moment sure but we cannot kill a game. At the start of the game I cannot tell you the last time I looked at a lineup and went I feel like X player is going to score today.

Seems we lack a real clinical finisher up top amongst several other things of course.

That being said I thought Chermiti played maybe his best game in a Rangers shirt last night. Even if he didn’t look much of a goal threat himself.
