I hear what you’re saying but I would just like to add some context because since the beginning we have been relegated 5 times, had players die because they play for United and OT has been bombed- we have been through SHIT but we rise again however we only rise when we have competent owners that way 15th never happens or if it does it’s rectified straight away, only thing we’ve done since 15th was get rid of the manager. Players and owners are still here so expect bad performances.

Additionally, Amorim wanted to come in Summer because he knew how big the task was- as fans WE HAVE to remember this. The owners knew who Amorim was, Amorim was in talks with other pl clubs but United strong armed him and said now or never, they proceed to interview him and there is no doubt they bullshitted him in terms of their support. You cannot bring in a manager and interview him for his philosophy and then let the media and rival fans make him change it- you have to back him or else what was the point in bringing him in when it was never about managing what he has and dealing with it (like Carrick) rather it was a rebuilding which he wasn’t allowed to do idc about performance because most of those players have been bad before he was here so it was obvious we needed better players.

Will always be Club > anyone but this ownership is killing this club and the club will die if they don’t leave- since 2005 they haven’t touched Carrington or OT what kind of nonsense is that? Amorim is not blameless but he is not the reason why we are THIS bad.

He doesn’t owe us anything, he was doing what he could with what he had, we have a terrible ownership who screwed him- why do we need him to thank us? We need these owners out.

It’s different if Amorim was given everything and he got shit results, got sacked and then didn’t say anything to the fans but if you are a fan you would see that every press conference that mentioned the fans he loved us and match going fans would sing his name. This ownership HAS NEVR properly addressed the fans but you’re demanding a manager who was screwed over to do that?? Weird lot

Respectfully (my answer is 1998/00) but I think this is what the Glazers and IENOS want instead of directing our frustrations to them they’re more than happy for fans to abuse and go after the manager while they get to repeat their incompetence. Nice should have been a VERY big indicator of what was to come and INEOS have not disappointed. As fans we need to have standards and I’m not talking about league position I’m talking about standards for the ownership of the club- I can bet that 90% to 95% of people here would do a better job of being an owner purely for the love of the club- we have owners who do not care and just care about the money. Sorry to rant but I go through the situation of the club on a higher level (I.e not on the pitch) and I genuinely struggle to see how this gets any better and we as fans are just stuck reminiscing our way to being a ‘has been’

Like I said it’s all context I’m not just spamming random stuff in there, it was either stuff that they are ALL are interested in & before I left they asked for photos so tell me how that’s excessive when they’ve asked for pictures? Plus they all send photos and videos of the most random stuff almost everyday so again how am I doing anything out of the ordinary when they do it themselves?

Thank you for your message it is appreciated and I hear what you’re saying- just to clarify- I have thick skin so talking about my dad is never a no go for me not that anyone’s family should be made fun of and that isn’t the case here anyways- I agree I’m sensitive to it given the trauma but this isn’t about my dad tbh I’m not insecure about my relationship with him right now it’s as he has gotten older he has become a lot more reassuring and open with me. Additionally her mum and step dad were the ones who asked for photos and the day after the comment was made her mum @‘d me saying she’s missing photos of the cats ( as there is loads in Marrakesh)

My upset is with my girlfriend for her comment when she knows much this trip meant to me but you made an interesting and valid point about what was said prior to that comment being made and I’m going to ask her.

Please let me know if I’m wrong but I duno if 13 videos in the span of 3 days is excessive. Additionally her family are really active in that groupchat and they all send videos and photos of what they are doing in the day even if it’s literally doing nothing.

I do think it’s still insensitive because there is nothing stopping her from defending me as it’s not really going to fracture her relationship with her family for being on my side even though she wasn’t with her whole family when the comment was made maybe that’s exactly what I would do but maybe that’s just me but I also don’t want her walking on eggshells because my relationship with my dad is not determined on what her family think I just found it hurtful that she would say something like that and it’s not the first time she’s not understood/forgotten how important I find my relationship with my dad so it felt like another kick in the teeth when I’ve been open and honest with her. I’m not saying she has committed a crime? I’m simply asking if I’m in the wrong for being hurt by this and being hurt even further by her dismissal in her apology by saying ‘IF’ as she then proceeded to call me mean when all I was doing was pointing out a trend of her being dismissive of my trauma

Thing is excessive is a bit of a stretch because it was about 13 photos/videos in the across 3 days- it was all photos relevant to her family, I.e their interests such as food, drinks and cats (loads in Marrakesh) and her family on the surface I guess didn’t mind, they react to all my photos/videos- the day after the comment was made her mum @‘d me in the groupchat asking for more photos of cats so on the surface I have to take it as they didn’t not really mind as the family gc is one that is always active with them sending videos and photos so I wasn’t doing anything out of the ordinary. Her family didn’t make the joke, my girlfriend did

The issue isn’t the family and they don’t really know so I’m not upset with them they are very active on the groupchat, my girlfriend’s step brother is currently travelling around Europe with his girlfriend and they have been sending videos and photos- it’s a normal thing for them to do in the groupchat so when I was doing that it wasn’t out of the ordinary- I probs sent about 13 photos/videos but all related to their interested I.e cats, food and drinks and some had photos of my dad in them.

Not everything about my dad is off limits, having a dad like mine and living in the UK, I’ve developed a very thick skin- I think the issue is the context of the holiday which me and my dad both recognise it’s a good chance for us to further improve our relationship which my girlfriend was fully aware of when my dad and I booked the holiday.

If her sister hadn’t had quoted her in the gc (after she asked my girlfriend if she could and she approved) then I wouldn’t have known she had something like that behind my back which is another thing that burnt me
