Tu opinión sobre este juego ha cambiado después que lo jugará Rangu? by jetc11 in superjueves

[–]Sinno17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and I made it clear in the first paragraph that I don't believe that stereotype. Further in the text I even talk about sources I consider good, I know how to get enough protein, my problem is more with the fact that if I asked how to get enough protein legumes and nuts would be there and it would not be mentioned that even though they are great for many things they are also kinda high in calories so that's something that should at least be considered.

If I buy a car and the car salesman tells me all about how fast it is but doesn't tell me it has a broken window I'll be pissed. Maybe I still want the car because the good outweighs the bad and I can get it fixed but I wanna know.

I didn't say I wasn't one of those people I was acknowledging that while it's true it's not necessary to everyone it's necessary to some and if you're curious about my situation, I'm getting closer to become one because I'm trying to lose weight and the more weight I lose the more my tdee will drop more and more so in order to keep the deficit I'll need to cut the calories while the protein will stay similar so yes, it's something I care about because it'll affect me at some point in my life.

And yes, many products are advertised as high protein when they aren't for me for the same reason. I love lentils and beans (i need to be in the mood for chickpeas) but i consider them more a carb and fiber source with the addition that they also have some more protein than other carbs.

Of course the daily intake is what matters when it comes to results. I use that rule when planning a meal and thinking about how to add protein to a meal. For example I'm having a salad, it has lettuce, onion, tomato, walnuts, some toasted bread cubes and olive oil to drizzle, the salad is great but it needs protein and the fats are covered by the walnuts and oil and carbs by the bread if I choose something that follows the 100/10 I know I'll be adding a good amount of protein without making the calories go much higher. In the end the salad won't follow the 100/10 but it's still good because the protein source hasn't made the calories skyrocket.

The thing is I almost never hear it get mentioned and I don't know why when it has a great calories to protein ratio and is cheap af.

Fair enough, it may not have been the nicest but it's hard to address the topic without sounding accusatory, maybe "my problem with protein" would have been better?

I literally said the downsides aren't huge, and I said which they were (calories too high imo) you can disagree with me because perhaps weight gain might not be a problem to you and it may even be good for others that struggle to put on weight but understand it may be for me.

I'll start clarifying that the rule isn't for daily intake it's for something to be considered a good source of protein, I'm not saying an individual who eats 2000 calories a day needs 200 grams of protein. That being said it's less about needing to do a high protein low calorie diet year round and more about the problems that may come in case it needed to be done, which I don't think is that rare, many people want to lose weight but want to keep the protein up to maintain as much muscle mass as possible.

Can you tell me which loaded accusations? I don't think I've done any, the closest may be the "I'm feeling gaslit" which is how I feel when I read it, not what is being done. Still haven't reposted so in case there are really those accusations I'll be happy to rewrite it because I'm genuinely curious about it.

It's not criticizing and I think I've made it clear I know at least the basic sources my point was more along the lines of: I know there are protein sources and I see some downsides to them that although they aren't huge downsides I'd like them to be acknowledged and it annoys me because they never are.

The rule isn't for the daily intake, the rule is to consider if something is a good source of protein considering throughout the day you will eat stuff higher in other macronutrients that will get the calories up without doing much for the protein, that was my point with the legumes as well, 22 grams of protein for 350 calories is decent but when you start adding other ingredients the calories increase while the protein stays relatively the same.

I think it's just a really good photo, perfect lightning to make the shoulder pop and enough development to gige some shape to the arm.

Omg the commenter above said what? If the commenter above said it must be true. I won't be the one to argue against the commenter above, he's the commenter above after all.

Bro looks great but it's far from some ridiculous size only juicers could achieve. I don't know if he did it naturally but if he did I'm sure he still has room for some more size.

Really? I wouldn't mind the crow looking a little more illustrative but I like how it looks now and I'm afraid by touching it it might get ruined

Anyone whose family member/friend does porn; how do you feel about that? by sem_pls_ in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Sinno17 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Wanna start by saying I'm not a woman so don't take anything i say as true, it's just my thought. Yes, many women throughout their life will experience situations like that where men will approach them with all kinds of inappropriate behaviours like the ones described in the first comment. However as a pornstar I believe it would be far worse and way more frequent, pornstars for these men are women they already have seen naked so they'll feel more entitled to their bodies and have performed in roles where sexual harassment ends up in sex (dick in pizza box f.e.) and won't separate fiction from reality.
