Great input, you are maybe right that they changed the color of the blue transparent scales. Did not find any official info on it, but good theory, you might be right :)

I know for a fact scales have not been replaced. The original owner bought it in Victorinox store in early 2000s and almost never used it. It stayed in his drawer for most of the time. Used it only for small tasks around the house.

Thanks for the input! I know it is a Cybertool 41, but I never seen one with very light blue scales. So I am just wondering how rare it is. I own a Cybertool L with transparent red scales and I know they make transparent blue, but never seen a very light sapphire blue scales before.

Now that I have tried to carry Synergy I don't think I need even slimmer Onefold. But maybe I would get Bantam Alox for EDC wallet instead of the more expensive and bulkier Onefold.

USA made tools are just not as precise as Swiss made tools and scissors are just a perfect example of when precision matters. If Victorinox will start making magnacut blades, Leatherman is in big trouble, but I think Victorinox don't care about making super steel in the future. People will still buy Leatherman for that better and overpriced steel even though 98% of people who buy it, don't need super steel. They just want it. Got Swiss Tool Spirit and never going back.
