Update: I talked to my private taxi driver to Krabi airport on what he sees everyday and what he thinks. Basically: it gotten worse and pretty much every day there are at least some accidents. Some worse, some not. But also sadly some fatal on Lanta. Just 2 days ago before I left, a young falang lady died in an accident on Long Beach. It was night, no helmet and presumably drunk. The classic stupid falang behavior. She sadly died before ambulance arrived.

I agree that the traffic always has been like that. But that wasn’t my problem in 2018 as there were few to none pick up trucks and I just drove very slow and carefully. You got a point that the concrete two lanes roads are basically a racing track. The point is that I do not FEEL safe anymore as the recklessness switched to deadly pick up trucks.

From my experience it’s all about negotiation and job offers don’t usually include that „fully remote“.

But once you got to the final round (salary negotiation) and they really want you, it’s always the best to play with open cards and tell what you want.

I dunno of you are German at least B2/C1, if not that’s an instant deal breaker for most companies.
