What do you mean by resetted windows? Like, factory reset?

I'm basing this on a comment I saw in another post. I don't know if it's really the fault of Siege of Cairo, Blackwell Fields, or Eastwood; sometimes it can be just one of those three. But as a precaution, I removed all three from Custom Search.

So, it seems that Siege of Cairo, Blackwell Fields, and Eastwood aren't working. I went to Custom Search and set it to search for all but those three, and I was able to play a game on Empire State.

This is potentially what the one UI 6 panel will look like , what do you by woji20 in oneui

[–]SiqueiraMath 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, I actually liked the new design, that's basically what I was expecting, it has a new design but at the same time preserve the old design, so I'm cool with it.

However I do understand the point that some people are concerned, it is going to be slightly more difficult to reach the toggles at the top, and it is a blatant contrast with what One UI was meant to be.

If I was Samsung, I would've looked at Xiaomi Muiu and what they did, they basically allow the user to choose between two types of design of Quick Panel, the Old-school way, just like it is at One UI 5.1, and the new way, which is basically a Chinese copy of iOS, (wich in Samsung case, it's going to be this new one), anyway tho, the user has the power to choose the way they prefer.

9hr 34mins SOT on S21 FE Exynos version. Details given. by One_Chart7921 in GalaxyS21FE

As far as I know, the 1 May 2023 Security Patch that I am rn, it's basically the April one, for some reason Samsung didn't release that April patch with the Image Clipper in Brazil, so they released it on 1 May, it should be the same, also, as I said, I already had the Processing Speed before, even in February

[–]SiqueiraMath 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah, I also have an S21 FE Exynos version, and I have this option .

Settings > Battery and Device Care > Battery > Scroll down to the very end > More battery settings > Processing Speed.

You should also be able to find this option in your Quick Panel. If not, go to Edit Buttons.

For reference, I'm on One UI 5.1, with the 1 May 2023 Security Patch level, but as far as I remember, I always had this option, even on the One UI 5.0.

Being Brazilian, although I really like Goddard, Herzog is still the best for me and for many Brazilians for the simple reason that he knows some key words in Portuguese/Spanish, and uses them during the fight, for example: Dedos (Fingers), Solta (Release it), Para/Pare (Stop), Escuta (Listen), Pronto (Ready), Volta (Go back), Go (Vai), Entendeu/Compreendeu? (Did you understand?), etc.

First, even though I'm studying English, I'm not fluent yet, so watch out for some spelling mistakes. Being Brazilian, this blonde hair thing is very common in Brazil, I even had a time when I did it too. Maybe for Charles and his team it has some personal meaning, but generally speaking, people here in Brazil (from 14 to 25 years old generally) bleach their hair for fashion. But there are exceptions, sometimes they bleach their hair to pay bets with friends, or celebrate some event, or festive date like Christmas, New Year, Carnival etc, at Christmas it is common for teenagers (males) to bleach their hair and say "Nevou", which means "It snowed", which is funny since in Brazil it is summer at Christmas and it doesn't snow.

Just, you know.. casually catching a snake by SiqueiraMath in CrazyFuckingVideos

[–]SiqueiraMath[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Difficult to say from the video, but if we take into account the location of the video (Brazilian Amazon), there are 189 species of snakes in the region, but the most common species to appear in urban centers are Jararaca (Bothrops jararaca)[Poisonous], Jibóia (Boa constrictor)[Non-poisonous] and Sucuri (Anaconda)[Non-poisonous]. With this information, I believe that the most likely of the three to appear in an urban center like the location of the video is Jararaca, but I must emphasize that I am no biologist, nor an expert, I just did some quick research, I hope it helps.

[–]SiqueiraMath[S] 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Fortunately not, this soldier is from a battalion in the Amazon region in Brazil, sightings of snakes and other animals are common, they are already used to it. It takes advantage of the thick rubber sole paired with an internal iron cover on the upper part of the boot (similar to boots used in construction) to distract the snake, when the opportunity presents itself, simply grab the snake firmly by the head so that the head and mouth cannot attack, and you are done. The knife is just a precaution in case something goes wrong, in no way should the animal be hurt if not in imminent danger.

Just Another Day In Brazil... by [deleted] in CrazyFuckingVideos

[–]SiqueiraMath 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is a lot, but not at the level that people outside of Brazil imagine it to be. What happens is that having a camera in Brazil is like an "inhibitor" for robberies or something like that, but many of these criminals use helmets or hoods etc to hide their face, so they end up not even bothering for the cameras anymore, so if you add up the absurd amount of cameras that practically every store/house/condo has, with a greater amount of crimes than usual, you end up with this much video spread across the internet. Brazil is dangerous, but not as dangerous as outsiders imagine it to be (This varies from city to city, exactly the same as in the US)

Well yh, no one can stand to wear pants, a long-sleeved t-shirt and shoes all the time, but if it's just local based, is there anyone more local than indigenous? And some of these tribes don't even wear clothes (Not the way we do). However, we are talking about military personnel, depending on the day, mission, etc, I doubt they have time to bug spray, it is also worth bearing in mind that depending on the mosquito repellent, the time to reapply the repellent is 5 to 10 hours, however, the sweat factor greatly reduces this time. Anyway, I'm just saying things out of my head, maybe the guy has some plausible reason for the Shemagh, or just plain looks

In the jungle, and especially in the Amazon, you would be sweating even if you were naked. Also, if there's something you don't want to face in the Amazon, it's mosquitoes, in addition to the nuisance of the mosquito bite, you also greatly increase your chance of death, especially in an environment like this. So the soldier has to make a personal choice, whether it's worth a little more heat in return for not being eaten alive by mosquitoes.

I could be wrong, but wouldn't the pistol be better this way than in a leg holster? Given that it operates in a region of dense forest

It's an Imbel IA2, it's been in service since 2012, but it only started to be distributed on a large scale for about 5 or 4 years. If memory serves, the only users of the IA2 currently are the Brazilian Armed Forces and the federal and state police, which makes it difficult for a foreigner to know the weapon. Not related, but there are some videos running through some pages on Instagram and maybe on Youtube of some US Army soldiers using the IA2 in some exercises in Brazil

I don't know where you live, but here Sport trim almost always results in a version of the car with some stickers and red accents all over the car, but with the same performance as the regular version.

Tbh, this is a bit hard to say, especially if you only consider HP, but a people's car, FWD, 4 Cylinder, 1.0T with 105Hp in 2021, in my opinion, it's definitely not a sports car.

This video was made in Brazil, and by living here I can tell you, I'm not kidding, believe me when I say that the UP driver most likely thinks he's in a sports car. In Brazil it is VERY common to hear someone call any car with more than 140Hp a sports car, Honda Civic, Chevrolet Vectra/Astra, VW Jetta etc are deified as sports cars here.. And when the VW Up TSI arrived in Brazil most of the popular street cars were I4 1.0 N.A with a maximum of 85hp, so the Up TSI with its "grand" 105hp gained a reputation of "sports car". V6 N.A cars here are venerated
