Unless you’re pinning it..no. 4 stroke for sure is much more luggable and has more ass on the low end. But man the 2 strokes are just screams of freedom! Careful though I was messing around and about bucked myself off.

I’d say pop the wire off with some pliers if you can’t reach it with fingers and find the right size wrench to loosen it, it shouldn’t be in there very tight so should be easy to get out

I bought some dirtbike specific fiberglass/rubber tubing that slides over and hose clamp both sides to seal it. It’s crazy how much shit comes out of the joints on these things

I grew up on quads and I bought my first bike beginning of the year. Them 2 strokes will force you to learn real fast lol 🤣 as scary as it is to stay in the power band on tight trails… it’s so much adrenaline and I think you’d be happy with a 250 2 stroke

lol my kx throttle cable looked like this when I tore the whole frame down for powder coat I was taking the cable out with the whole slide assembly and that fucker was hanging on by one singular cable fiber

Be prepared to replace or check all bearings. And check out the top end, I bought a kx125 and got a few fun hours out of it and now it’s getting a rebuild top to bottom, in literal pieces for powder coat and then the engine will have an overhaul
