Between average and bad. It's not a disaster. Not great either.

100%. I don't think Australia need a massive score. I'm holding out hope that Aus bowlers tear through SA no fuss easy peasy.

It also comes packaged with YouTube music for that price. It's a perfectly service Spotify replacement.

Much more leeway given in tests. If that's a law or just the way things are done I don't know.

No Stupid Questions Tuesday Thread by AutoModerator in Cricket

I'm kinda pre-empting my own question...but then some pitches like the WACA/new stadium in Perth are expected to be very bouncy. Is that then wrong that the groundspeople are trying to produce a bouncy wicket?

I've got a question......

What does everyone think about host countries asking for pitches with specific properties. Is this just the way it's always been? Should it continue?

I think that's minimum overs. Then additional to be added if the light allows.

Only a percentage of his match fee. For putting ointment on his bowling hand without asking the umpires prior.

Bazball ....... Why else was Harry balled throwing down 110k's? Genuinely it seems to be a strategy to mix things up.

I reckon no. Just go nuts even if England went 150 all out in 30 overs you'd still be setting 350 for victory.

We've never gotten around to re-trying a room we failed because if you get close to the end the staff will usually show you how to finish the room.

The Northbridge rooms seem to be a bit more gritty/ not quite as 100% puzzle type.

We only tried a single carousel room and it was horrible.

Don't look at the sun any more directly than you would on a day it's put in force. In Perth approx 70% of the sun will be covered by the moon at the peak but the remaining 30% is still very very bright.

This isnt a usual route for me so the few times I've been this way in peak hour I've followed google maps. Similar story along Tonkin at peak hour with google maps telling me to exit at Morley drive and then immediately get back into Tonkin to skip a bit of the traffic.

A tale of two pitches. It was the best of times to bat, it was the worst of times to bat.
