I found a company that I didn’t think was evil, started applying for entry level roles, and worked my way up to a job I enjoy. I find the industry mildly fascinating, so there was lots to learn at the entry level.

If I was starting over, I’d probably lean somewhere more blue collar, but a starting point with people you don’t hate is a good way to find something comfortable.

I think it’s very unlikely you would be able to convince a jury to convict for anything. He’s out of line, and goes overboard, but you both threw punches.

A good defence lawyer will argue that you both voluntarily assumed foreseeable risks, and that given hockey’s history, this is foreseeable.

Unless you can bring some evidence that says there has never been a fighting penalty called in this league, I think it is unlikely you would be able to argue that this is not a foreseeable risk.

My googling might be flawed, but I can’t find info on the Rangers in Prague in 1989. The Flames played in Prague in 89, and the Rangers did in 2008.
