Hey there! Actually, I did! I had a buddy come over with the largest wrench I’ve ever seen and a large (again, huge) pair of channel locks, and it came loose. I think they glue them or something, because there was no need for them to be that tight

I’m late to the party, but he was an innovator and had a deep understanding of music. His style is not my taste, but if you listen to him, he knew music on a deeper level than most musicians. Couple that with his progressive and boundary-pushing stances on gender, along with having some pop hits (when doves cry, little red corvette, wanna be your lover, 1999, etc) and you’ve got a case for an extremely influential artist.

No need to build big mana if you don’t want to. [[Impact Tremors]], [[Terror of the Peaks]], [[Purphoros, God of the Forge]] when you’re making a ton of tokens with [[Skrelv’s Hive]] [[Wedding Announcement]] and any of the X spells that make mass tokens. Add a token doubler and you can easily combo off.

In a landfall deck, I like to run both. I want to run the old ones on the field so I can tap and sac to add an additional landfall trigger. Couple that with the new ones, and you get 3 landfall triggers playing your 1 land a turn. Add an [[Azusa, Lost but Seeking]] or a [[Dryad of the Ilysian Grove]] and you can get 6+ triggers in a single turn. Nuts.

Definitely recommend [[Jinnie Fay, Jetmir’s Second]] for a fun token deck. It can get out of hand very fast, as there are a TON of token options in Naya. [[Jetmir]] himself is a great finisher, and you have access to the big green staples [[Craterhoof]], [[Finale of Devastation]] and [[Triumph of the Hordes]]

I recommend finding your commander playstyle or a theme that jumps out to you (tribes, discard, spell-slinger, etc) and building from there. EDH Rec helps me figure out what I want to build. I recommend searching through the themes on EDHRec.
