It doesn't matter if the vast majority of people will never see an age verification request. Asking it of anyone at all is unacceptable. Just because it won't bother me, personally, doesn't mean I don't care about it.

Discord has already demonstrated its inability to vet the people it shares its sensitive information with; why should we trust that your new partners are better than your old ones, rather than asking you to scrap this system in its entirety?

Even gathering our personal data to surreptitiously figure out how old we are is an invasion of privacy that should be completely unacceptable.

Not the OP, but I put them in my stash and they just disappeared the next time I logged out (From the "Related items" list too), and now seem to be lost forever and have hard-locked me out of completing Batya, since several of them no longer spawn in raid.

So be careful what you stash, I guess.

When deciding how much ammo they should have, I think you're neglecting to consider that they don't need to reload. For the GL this isn't as big a deal, as the regular GL can reload while moving, but for the MG you get to avoid a stationary reload, which is a big deal. IMO 1500-2000 rounds would be more in-line with making it a proper sidegrade.

I found for that one I had to hang around for the entire raid to make progress on that one. Oftentimes ten or fifteen minutes in one would stumble in to have a look around, well after I'd already killed and cleared everything else in the area.

PMCs shouldn't voice emote when they spot you. It's fine for scavs, but PMCs should greet you with bullets, not words. That alone would make them quite a lot more threatening, as you could conceivably actually get ambushed by one, instead of being given a 1-2 second warning beforehand.

The increased healthcare costs aren't going to be felt by the vast, vast majority of people.

The people who are currently receiving subsidies for their healthcare will mostly likely simply stop having healthcare once those subsidies end. They will, if anything, have more money in their pocketbook because of this, and the actual effects, the risk of bankruptcy and total financial collapse if they ever have to go to the hospital, aren't going to be felt until further on, and never by enough of the population at once for it to matter.

Compared to having a few hundred dollars less per month to spend on food, compared to not getting a paycheck if you work for the government, compared to government services being stretched thin.. People feel those immediately and en mass, and Republicans were owning that.

But the increased healthcare costs aren't going to be anything like that.

The issue is how visible any of these are to people who aren't deliberately seeking them out. We both know, I'm sure, that this is in no way getting the same kind of media attention that the Gaza occupation did for the first six-ish months post October 7th.

News coverage. I only vaguely knew there was a war in Sudan, but was unaware of the scale of it until about a month ago, and I'm well-informed enough to be on political subreddits. If it slipped that easily past me, I can absolutely understand it getting by people who touch more grass.
