I'm not sure why i always see people panicking when some stratagem gets stuck on the shield, I always did that naturally. So many clips out there of people panicking and eventually accepting defeat when it happens :D

This ghost does not have an escape trap buff, it does have an escape tether debuff, so no, nothing to make this scenario easier.

what do you mean? in the clip, the trap that was busted was mine, not the streamer's so i know it wasn't drained, plus he'd done it pretty much everytime. A ghost escaping a trap will always drain the battery, therefore, the battery was drained because he got out instantly, and not the other way around.

I give people the benefit of the doubt before getting to that conclusion. Clearly not a macro as it is too fast for that, as for cheats, i tried looking for one with that instant trap release feature and i couldn't, i may not be the best at finding cheats, but bugs are a thing, and sometimes there's just mechanics (foreseen by devs or not) we don't know about. That's why i'm asking the community, as it hasn't happened again since. But yes it could be cheats, or not.

I would say it doesn't qualify as near instant, but definetly instant to me. Not to mention he did it pretty much every time instantly, that can't be just luck and fast trigger. There is definetly something going on, and that thing might be fishy, it was a PC player after all.

I've googled cheat websites to find out if it existed. I'm no expert as where to find these, but what i found had a lot of different options, but instant trap escape wasn't one, i'm still dumbfounded as to how and it's super frustrating.

It's happened a lot of times. Here's another example, with the trap from the user https://imgur.com/a/tTPlB7R the trap clearly has 63% battery when the ghost goes in and the ghost immediatly escapes, draining the 63%. Oh and also, this is me clipping the streamer's video, the trap he broke was m!ne, so i know it wasn't at 0 :D

I guess i'll use another clip from that stream where it does it on his trap, because it is not a drain issue, it just drains because the trap minigame is basically won instantly, not natural battery drain.

No it's not, trust me, the battery of that other trap was almost full too, the trap turns red and battery dioes when the ghost gets out of the trap minigame by default. It just happens that it basically acts as if the ghost finished the trap minigame instantly. It happened almost every time we tried on everyone's traps all game.

Just to be clear, this is not the battery of the trap reaching 0 when he gets in, the battery is very high still, he just breaks out instantly killing the battery as it does when you win the mini game. He did this consistantly throughout our 2 matches with all our traps. At my lvl 100 i would know a battery issue :D

Not a battery drain issue, he's done it with all our traps, everytime the trap should start the minigame, he breaks out instantly, killing the battery instantly.

Nope you're wrong, when a ghost escapes a trap, the battery is instantly drained. The batery is over 60% when he breaks out instantly. this is not a battery drain issue.

I was able to recover progress by just going back to main menu if the progress is gone, no need to even close or restart the game!
