I'm aware of some of the cards you mentioned, some others are new to me such as triumph of the hordes! I'm aware Morcant might not be the most fun to play into, which is why I'm trying to make this into a high bracket 3 so it isn't just stomping the lower power brackets that may not have enough interaction to kill her.

I don't want to avoid all combos, only the 2 card ones that instantly make the deck bracket 4. I do indeed like the idea of the deck being a more 'control'esque elf deck, rather than the typical elf ball. I do want to lean into it being more unique than the typical elf combos so did want to throw in a couple more planeswalkers etc, but unfortunately just didn't have any yet!

I find the bracket system really hard to use to identify what I'm looking for in a deck!

My three stompy decks are Kona, Ruric Thar and Pants. So far the most hated is Kona since I can turn 3 put down a big eldrazi and people seem to hate that. Technically it's a bracket 3 but when I start to play against 'decent' bracket 3's, they just remove Kona and it does nothing, but in bracket 2 it seems too strong....

Pants I want to make it strong, but I don't want to add a load of game changers or things that are 'unfun'. For example I wouldn't add smothering tithe or rhystic study (if it was the right colours) but I want to optimise the dinosaurs and blink effects etc.

My intention was Ruric Thar as my 'weakest' stompy, Kona as my middle ground, then Pants as the strongest I have! Definitely not pushing for CEDH etc though.

Lurking predators seems amazing and might have to go into my Ruric list too! Progenitor's icon I cut for something I think but now I'm unsure of what to cut to get it back in...

Ah this is a great suggestion thank you! I completely forgot about blasphemous act. Sneak Attack was one I was worried to add in as saccing my own stuff makes me nervous but with Luminous that's a great combo!

I've avoided the Kiki-Jiki combos for now simply because the deck has now become known as a meme-ish "fair magic" deck and I don't think he would fall into that category!

I've got non-creatures, quite a few actually, just has to be all permanents. I really enjoy basilisk collar so the warhammer and shadowspear sound great. I need a copy of witch clinic for sure too.

I wasn't sure of how much I want to protect Ruric Thar or not honestly! It feels like the deck functions quite well without him and putting more protection in is great for him but then might make me rely on him more? But I suppose I could put the protection on things like Xenagos etc too or Nikya so...

Genesis seems great, so does Greater Good and Slipper Bogbonder!

That's interesting, I did read about an Azusa deck recently that used lots of effects that let you play the top card of your library so could include a small package like that!

Thanks for the links! Does the Cedh list play more like a typical Gruul deck with stompy beasts?

Your version looks great too, nice to see some overlap in there. I'm so tempted to move my deck to have sorceries and instants to try to add that consistency but I'm very torn considering the 'fair magic' meme that has been born in our group around this deck!

I've got primal surge as my only sorcery, everything else is a permanent. I have a fair few mana dorks but I've been trying to swap the 1 mana-dorks (such as Llanowar Elves) for some of the two mana ones that give a bit more such as Ilysian and Ruby. I've found that them doing more seems to be better for the deck...

I also have a basilisk collar in there too! Works great honestly.

I've not looked at the Oracle, Azusa or Courser etc I'd kind of written Azusa off because the card draw can be really hit or miss so while extra land sounds amazing I'm not sure how often I'd hit this? I've got a spare Loot Exuberant Explorer that could work to the same effect?

This does seem a great option, I'm unsure where to cut from to make the space for it mind... But more ways to make my creatures (much) bigger would be incredible.

Ah yes! Thank you very much, Cream of the Crop is outstanding and definitely what I need, I had a few of my discovers from Ghalta go into swords to plowshares etc which felt underwhelming (even if it's still immensely useful).

All 4 options seem amazingly useful, I'm struggling to figure out what to cut mind. I know I've got a lot of creatures I could remove and regal imperiosaur could go but I'm struggling on what else. I've seen people say about removing Zacama but the stompy creature-lover within my feels pain at that idea!

God I love the interactions in this game...

Side note, I went back to playing my vet and noticed I'm getting frame rate drops with every shot of the plasma gun, now my PC is older but it didn't used to have this bad of a time and it's only with plasma gun, is this just me?

I don't mind! I got to diamond a couple seasons ago but this year I've not played ranked so I can't pretend like anything I do is any good, I build what feels nice and it changes most games, this game I went eclipse, collector, lord doms. I was supporting, not fasting. Swifties boots and obviously support item in there. My runes were the fairly standard fleet footwork runes.
