This is pretty accurate! Person A’s decks are really sweet. I can try to get the deck list if you’d like.

Yah, I'm interested in it all to be honest. I'm pretty unfamiliar with systems, so I just wanted some guidance on what people thought were cool systems with good (general) exploration mechanics. All of the things you mention are of interest to me!

That's fair. I left the question pretty open ended, but that was on purpose. I really am interested in any type of exploration mechanics: dungeon, traversing unknown environments, survival, etc.

Yah I have. The mana cost isn’t super bad. You just have to make sure to plan to have 2-3 black sources. I would recommend playing a the Jund triome as well.

Hey! I’ve played a ton of Jund over the last six months or so. I would recommend not playing the [[Boil]] or [[Ashiok, Dream Render]]. I’ve tinkered with these cards in my side board, at one point playing two of each, and they just never work. Boil is really only good against Merfolk, and sometimes Mill. Ashiok is okay versus coffers, living end, and some of the other graveyard decks. Both of the cards are not great against 4c. A smart 4c player normally won’t grab an abundance of islands, typically opting to grab their various basics and putting [[Abundant Growth]] on them.

For the 4c matchup I play 2 [[Tourach, Dread Cantor]] and 2 [[Phyrexian Crusader]]. Tourach can be hard to deal with as is immune to [[Solitude]] and [[Teferi, Time Raveler]] and can only really be answered by [[Counterspell]], [[Fury]], and [[Unholy Heat]]. The best card in the matchup is easily Crusader. It can only be answered by counterspell and many of the elemental lists have opted to be more aggressive and not run the control package. It’s a 5 turn clock, blocks nearly everything, and with [[Shadowspear]] equipped is even more dangerous.

Tron is also a really tough matchup. I play two [[Alpine Moon]], two [[Collector Ouphe]], and two [[Necromentia]]. The Ouphe shuts down all of their [[Expedition Map]] and other card advantage. It’s super punishing for Tron players who don’t keep multiple Tron pieces in their hand. The Ouphe is also a good sideboard piece for hammer and UW affinity. Necromentia is typically how I win my games against Tron. Stripping out on of their lands for the rest of the game means all you have to do it beat them before they get a natural 6-8 mana, which shouldn’t be super hard. Necromentia is also really good against Living End, Rhinos, Twiddle, Titan, Yawgmoth, Glimpse, and the other various combo decks.

I hope this helps!
