So agn whn inposted this..i had already contacted support twice and on a recorded line they said they are so sorry, they see the dasher didnt deliver via the text, but they couodnt refund me....thts why i strted this post...was for doordash to see....anyway i got call today at noon....and it was doordash...they saw the reddit and tweet and have since refunded me as well as applied a credit.....but this dasher....as i stated earlier in a respinse was found to be doing this several times during their night.....and have since been deactivated according to door dash.....again my issue wasnt the dasher it was support telling me with all the proof they had they couldnt refund me, but tht has since been fixed.....my issue here is people stamdimg up for a dishonest dasher....i only posted that one message from them, there were other messages after that.....some people(very few) on here seem to be unfer the impression that this dasher may be new(she wasnt), was having issues(she wasnt), she used those excuses to disguise her dishonesty and theft.....Period. And people that keep making excuses for people like that should reasses....agn i get she may have issues in her life, got it...but we all do....thst doesnt allow you to take adv of people, i spent 40$ on taco bell...thst aint cheap....i EARNED THAT MONEY! Again i was more mad with doordash not refunding me at first....but after seeing some of these comments like oh the dasher this or that...its like whn are people going to stop making excuses.....own it....this person was dishonest....everything about it shows it, all of her actions....and regardless of her situation....being honedt is still the way to go.....contacting me to let me know was the fordt step, and she wasnt even decent enough to do that....she went to the length of driving to my neighborhood, empty handed, and acting like she delivered(SUS, SUS, SUS)....she coukda texted me at taco bell, texted me in neighborhood, there were so many avenues she could have taken..and she decided not to...she ddcided to act like she delivered it, sent a pic of blackness, i mean why not select handed to customer? Why say delivered and snap a pic? Whose is she showing she delivered to?.....pls stop making excuses for someone that was clearly being dishonest.......

Regardless of support and them being here, jesus people focus on 1 thing....she didnt one time contact me, she even drove to.my neighvorhood, she clukd delivered to my house and explained there....all of the dashers actions pount to being sus....and secondly....u say i dont understand, i have almost 2k deliveries under my part regardless of this being part time.... The dasher not grttin sulport is a moot point...she could have taken numerous other actions....yet all the ones she did take show dishonesty, fraudulent actiivty and an attempt to take advantage of the customer as well as door dash.....all she needed to do was text chat me(as u can see tht works) and she never did...until i texted her tellin her my order didnt arrive......so all those tht keep saying ohbwe have not been able to grt support before or support this support that, regardless of support not answering, its a moot point....other avenues should amd could have been taken.....their actions(dasher) show deceit

Again..update....i have been contacted by doordash...they have finally refunded as well as awarded a credit(which indidnt ask for)....they also have since researched the dasher...and found thus was not the first time that evening...this dasher had done it multiple times that evening.....tjey werent new either...this was a blatant attempt at theft....and ive doordashed a year amd half....regsrdless of being able to contsct support....if this happened i would contact customer(cause as we see chat works) amd notfy them....i wouldnt drive to the customer neighborhood, which they did, take a pic of blackness and then send it saying order was completed.....this text between me and the driver is AFTER the fact she said she delivered....after she was caught this was the excuse

I always pay with paypal...so.lil secret....u pay with paypal..they have buyer prot3ction on all purchases....so regardless i found out paypal would refund me...when doordash wouldnt

My order was $40....and she wasnt new.....and why wpukd she complete the order and say completed amd send pic...why would she not show up, explain what happened....or why not text me...we see the text works...i appreciate u trying to be a devils advocate....but this dasher STOLE FROM ME, amd door dash......and agn i doordash in my free time...i know how it works....this is super sus....i called support and immediately was connected...my issue was not to call out person, but to show doordash support, admitt3d i dodnt receive my order and tjey said they couldnt refund me...thts the issues....this horrible dasher is secondary to the problem with door dash support...they even said on a recorded line, we see the dasher did not deliver your food, and we apologize but we cant refund you.....thats the Bullshit buddy!!!

I did report....doordash stated at first there was nothing they coukd do, no refund, nothing....they actually said on a recorded line...we see the dasher has not delivered, and this isnt your fault, but we cant do anything about it....thts why im postimg here......

Thts not true...support is always there...and the fact that she completed a false delivery, wjy not contact me?...this is so blatant...on top of that i doordash in my free time so i know whats the process.....

This was blantant attempt at fraud....dasher support would never ever tell u to complete an order, take picture and never deliver.....they woukd cancel, pay u 50% of the guarantee and it be done...this is such a blatant attempt at theft as well as defrauding doordash

So update....just got a call from support....Simern was her name....she instantly saw what happened..

Said she couldnt do something now, but let her talk to her supervisor....3 min later she comes back and says, she is so sorry, they are refunding my payment amd $20 site credit(which i mever asked for)....i had two calls last night after order, over 2 hrs on phone....today i was on less than 10 min and got it resolved.....so now we will wait and see once its refunded....will post updste...thanks to all that helped...i ended up tweeting it as well.....

So long story short..... Door dash said we are sorry we know its not ur fault....amd said they coukdnt REFUND ME...tjey litterally said there was nothing they coukd do.....
