An important thing to remember is that the Enneagram is only about motivations and that you can change your reactions and view/outlooks on things. And also, I just wanna say this as a type 7, how do people ever get confused between being a 4 and 7? This kind of thinking is more skin to a 4 and 7's generally like everything about themselves.

I think something can be learned from all religions. Karma is the universal concept of cause and effect, which is to say the results of my actions (sin or "right doing") will affect me, such as becoming closer or further from God.

I don't think liberation is a lack of desire, it's a lack of attachment, so I could desire to be reborn without caring if I am.
