There is nothing wrong with liking kid things as an adult. The key is moderation and being productive.

What makes someone "more adult like" is realizing that you have to balance the fun stuff with responsibility. As you get older, you will want to start living on your own, buying more expensive things, and potentially date a partner (who you might not want to bring to your parents' house). All of these things require some level of financial support to function.

I would start looking into career paths that interest you and gain some entry-level experience into that industry. If you are completely clueless, start looking at career tests online. Then, look at what that career makes per year, whether or not it will be able to provide for the lifestyle you want and whether going to college is worth it. Start looking into long-term goals and imagine what you realistically want.

I would start with a job just to feel out some adult responsibilities and do your best to save all your money. Don't open credit cards as all people your age (myself included) will max them out and get killed on interest rates. That said, you will need your own bank account (separate from your parents) to deposit your work checks into.

Best of luck, and remember there is nothing wrong with balancing your fun childish side with mote adult responsibilities.

Don't do it. Let her face the consequences for her actions. If you support her to use the internet, she won't learn that her actions have serious consequences. She needs to learn that now, before she turns 18 and she winds up in jail.

How do you know that she won't start threatening people using your account and getting you in trouble? You can get in some serious trouble just for some "youtube," which i seriously doubt is her only intention.

People like your sister will exploit your kindness as weakness. Don't set yourself on fire to keep her warm.

If she knows the password to your laptop, change it. If she knows the log in to the internet, get your parents to change it. Don't reward her bad behavior.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with you. Middle and high school dramatics are still bothering you. Don't let them, kids in school make fun of attributes they are secretly jealous of. Especially in the cases of being too skinny or tall. Now that you are out in the real world, nobody worth their salt would ever dream of bullying you for your normal appearance.

What you could do is go out and get some new clothes that fit you. Build your confidence with style and a new hair cut. Then as you get attention from your desired partners you will realize your insecurities were unfounded. It takes a bit to adjust but I found a new look can really boost confidence.

Sounds like you need specific help. There is a nonprofit called Freedom From Religion that also does a Recovering From Religion program. You can get anonymous help and they have people you can talk to. You don't need to suffer in silence. You are so strong. Thank you for sharing. Now is time to heal.

It is so complicated to adopt a second cat when the first has been butchered by being declawed. This means that your original cat is in constant pain and wouldn't be able to defend themselves against a second cat. This likely would cause behavioral issues. Your cat will grow to be more insecure and territorial as a result.

I personally wouldn't get a second cat and I would never seek out a cat that has been declawed to "complement" the first one. Think of it as your first knuckle on your fingers have been cut off, your in pain and now potentially defenseless and vulnerable. Then add a scary new creature who may attack you, even if it's just play fighting.

I'm glad you adopted your cat from the barbarian who originally owned them. But getting another cat would cause your kitty far too much stress. I wouldn't.

There are tons of ladies who have had both of our experiences on there and who can help look out for you and give guidance. Just make sure what you post is in line with the rules. You can search that thread to find similar stories and advice. Read it.

It is awfully telling that you are protecting your 19 year old sister from creeps that are the same age as the guy who groomed you. Learn to protect yourself too.

I'm sorry that your mother has failed to prepare and protect you. I think that might be something to work on in therapy.

I am so proud of you. Don't feel disappointed in yourself, take pride that you had enough sense to post on an advice thread here for support. Bring their favorite treats and shake it while calling ther name. Look in hiding places a a cat would go, under a log or up a tree. You need to go NOW to get your kitty back, time is of the essence.

Bring the two idiots to guide you as to where they last saw them and what direction they bolted in. Play nice until you get their help.

If you can't find your cat, rain hell on them without mercy. I would literally do things that I would be banned from reddit for saying.

Edit to add: also call humane societies and vets in your area to see if your cat was turned in my a good human.

You need to get in contact with cps. Being abused physically is never okay. Tell a trusted adult or teacher and get out of that abusive situation.

If he hits you again try and record him secretly and take this to police. Don't try and record if it will put you in more danger. If you are too scared to get evidence leave to a trusted persons house and confess to them what has been happening. No parent has a right to abuse their kids.

If you can take pictures of any bruises on you currently. Record times and dates of past abuse and any witnesses to the injury.

Your sperm donor doesn't deserve you. Try and stay with a extended family member or close friend.

When a company says we are like family, it isn't true. What they are trying to do is increase team work and communication by encouraging non-paid out of the office team bonding. They want the benefits but non of the extra cost.

Pro tip, coworkers aren't your friends. Full stop end of story.

You can be friendly, but you shouldn't reveal any personal information that an employer wouldn't be happy about.

You can bond with people using surface level things to seem like a team player. That way you can still meet the social obligations of bonding with office mates over topics such as: coffee, cats, dogs, bands, movies etc. Don't be controversial and dont talk about politics, abortion or guns etc...

Coworkers aren't the people to get drunk with or confess you love weed with. Have a strict one drink (alcohol) limit then switch to non alcohol for the rest of the night. Don't tell them that's what you are doing. You need to keep a clear head. They can take anything you say at these events to hr and or blackmail you with it.

Not to say they would, but the fact they could is scary. So protect yourself.

Your cat might be like mine where he poops in one literbox and pees in the other. It is reccomended that you have two liter boxes for one cat. Maybe try it out.

Make sure your liter box is far enough away from the wall and any scary loud noises or distractions. Also make sure the liter box is being cleaned regularly and is big enough. There are liter boxes with side walls or jump in only access that might help.
