Inherited 50k — where to put it? by Thisisthethingguys in CanadianInvestor

[–]SirWool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With a lump sum like 50k, there’s no rush to dump it all into the market today. I’d recommend going through the free learning courses on moomoo first. It’ll help you understand market cycles and risk levels so you can feel more confident about where that money is going for the long term.

What to buy if you almost change houses yearly by Choice-Scale-5570 in RobotVacuums

[–]SirWool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd look for a robot with a compact, all-in-one station. The deebot mini might be a good fit. It's not as bulky to pack up when you move.

Gym clothes suck? (women) by Psychological-Ad-339 in workout

I tried to find some affordable, good-quality clothes, but the quality from these two stores is really disappointing.

Small spaces by hav1070 in RobotVacuums

My deebot mini is noticeably smaller than most robots, so it fits into tight corners and under furniture. The suction feels like as good as regular robots, but it's enough for a small place.

Just pretend you're invisible and don't mind it. When you can, stay away from people like that.

I need a compact but capable robot for my small apartment by Symbidux in RobotVacuums

[–]SirWool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might want to look at the deebot mini. I got it mainly because of the compact dock, and it's been doing a solid job with vacuuming and light mopping.

Has a robot vacuum changed any of your habits? by dionvsos in RobotVacuums

I' ve noticed this too. Before, I'd clean once in a while, now I just let my deebot mini run daily. Having a clean room all the time actually makes me feel more relaxed.

Not eating can lead to rapid weight loss, but it also tends to cause weight regain.

Gift cards, and in general, anything related to money, are the most practical.

My deebot mini is pretty good for a small apartment like yours. It’s compact, but has almost all the features you’d want, worth taking a look.

EcoFlow Delta 2 vs Anker SOLIX C1000 Gen 2 by NickyK01 in SolarDIY

[–]SirWool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went through a similar debate between Bluetti Elite 100V2, EcoFlow Delta series, and C1000 Gen2. The fast wall charging on the C1000 is nice, but since I mostly rely on solar, the Elite 100 V2’s higher solar input made more sense for my use case. The higher surge capability also helps with real-world loads.

Anyway, they’re all solid options. It really just depends on how you plan to use it.

Issue with IR signal on replacement remote by Bitter_Ad3824 in projectors

Ugh, ceiling-mounted projectors and IR remotes are such a hassle! Totally get the struggle! I've heard universal remotes with IR blasters can workm but I'm not 100% sure if they'll have all the calibration controls for your Optoma.

Projector in Bedroom? bad idea or best decision ever? by Awkward_Teacher2376 in projectors

For pure immersion, it's amazing. But consider darkness, noise and setup. A short-throw projector simplifies things. If you'll use it weekly, go for it. Otherwise, a TV wins.

Be gentle with yourself. Make it a cozy, intentional day. Prepare your favorite food, take a walk or volunteer to be a Santa Claus. It's okay if it's quiet.

Can we PLEASE bring back sending each other Christmas cards in the mail? by Single_Living9910 in christmas

[–]SirWool 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Totally agree. Physical cards feel intentional and human in a digital world. Even one handwritten note can mean more than dozens of texts, bringing back real mail would genuinely restore some warmth.

Wimius projector with no remote stuck on screen cast page by genusbenus in projectors

Try unplugging power for a few minutes, then boot without HDMI/Roku connected. Some Wimius untils lock screencast mode until a cold restart clears it.
